I have to say, I can no longer support going to this place. Let’s begin with the fact that the prices have been going up in this place for what seems like a monthly basis. To pay $35 for a gel manicure, that hardly lasts because the workers didn’t do it properly, plus to pay a tip?! I still don’t understand that ridiculous concept of me paying their bills when it’s already being asked in the price of the service. Not only that, the workers have been rude. They made me do some of the work myself while they went and did other things. Then I’m forced to tip them for that?! No. I’m tired of the tips being a standard here, it’s not even appreciated at this point because they demand it. I’m tired of coming to a place that just doesn’t seem to care anymore about clients who don’t come in every week because it’s not so much cash flow. Will be going to a place where they charge much less and the quality is better. I paid for a manicure that was transparent because the layers weren’t placed properly....
Read moreI honestly wish I could give them a huge zero. Upon visiting the salon the owner tells me that I will be next for a manicure. As I waited for one hour typically 4 people went ahead and everyone disregarded my presence. As I sat observing their was typically 2 technician available but they were just prancing around so it seems not wanting to attend me. But lucky for me after seeing how they don't sanitize the cuticle clippers and salon tools etc it was best not to get anything done. They had a box just full of cuticle clippers open in their station not sterilized. They actually used the same tool on several different individuals for foot and nails without placing it in the sanitizer machine. Totally baffled. I was getting the feeling that they were bias/racist but it didn't matter they had worse issues like not following Nail Salon standards.I will be filing a report to several agencies. Hopefully I can save a few from getting a drastic onychomycosis(bacterial...
Read moreThis is a very biased/racist/unprofessional environment. When I first moved here 2 years ago I thought it would be so convenient to have a nail salon right across the street . All of the workers are minority women yet they will sit and blatantly stare at you while one of their other workers is doing your service to purposefully make you feel uncomfortable. I stopped going to them not specifically because of the nail service but because the awkward and uncomfortable staring and lack of disregard is unnerving . It seems they prefer their clients to be Jewish although none of them appear to be Jewish themselves. I do my nails in Manhattan near work where the conduct is professional and not...
