It wasn't enough room at the playground before, but since they designed a new project and reopened the whole park, it seems that whole Midwood came to play! Now the park has playground for children 2-5 years and two playgrounds for kids 5-12 (the old and the new one), swings, wet area with ground fountains, two basketball fields, 1 small football field and about 4 tennis fields, fit area for adults with sporting equipment and a lot of new benches and ash trays. Read moreI take my son here almost every day. I'm so happy that after my move from Michigan to Brooklyn this park had undergone renovation. My tip to parents that have very small children, or children at all, go before Murrow high lets out. The earlier the better. The place fills up with a bunch of pot smoke and you can't help but wonder how it's effecting your little one. Really good job with the play structures and benches and it's very diverse for every age. One more thing...who's idea was it to put a soccer field right next to the baby swings??? Have a public restroom, but close a bit earlier than the park itself close. You could also do other things there. Mostly a busy place and I hope they will put more things to play. Currently, they are working on one side of the park so not many places to play. They use to clean up the park most of the time but now it's not clean most...
