Jack's Bait and Tackle — Local services in New York

There are only 2 real bait n tackle shops over here and this is the slightly less expensive one with more stuff. My only gripe here is that one day they messed up my reel and didn't fix it....said it was too old to fix even though it only needed a screw and washer ....said they would give me great deal on new reel and I took it but its cheaper on Amazon and my old reel my old ryobi is way better still...this new one doesn't have back spin....also they tried to keep my old ryobi that they swore was not able to be fixed meanwhile its a collector item and they just wanted to keep it....lost a lot of cool points for that. That was the day I stopped tipping them for service. I still go here all the time but honestly the worms are over priced. Guess the fake help but try and take my reel really left a bad taste in my mouth. Always pay attention when someone is smiling the whole time they help you ....they are helping themselves ....trust me. Anyway I fixed my beautiful 38 year old Ryobi and its catching fish again. Can't be mad that he tried to keep it...its a really nice reel....no...

They stay on top of seasonal fishing changes and will help you out whether you are experienced or a total newbie. I have rented their boats, bought rods and reels here, rain gear, knives, pliers, hooks and swivels and many different types of bait. The quality is unsurpassed.
