Leidy's Secret Day Spa — Local services in New York

I have so much to say about this place but I know that no one will read a long review . But …ALL I have to say is DO NOT GO HERE and DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY . I came there about a week and a half ago and got my nails terribly done which took 2.5 hours, which in the middle of getting them done , I had to leave to get my son from school . THEN I went back to finish them with my son present . The moment I left , they all started to crack . I got powder gel . I came back the next day to show them and they seemed to deny any wrong doing . They wouldn’t give a refund of course , so I told them that next week I will go to fix them which was even worse than the first time . As I mentioned , I got “powder gel” manicure . They cracked everywhere again and broke everywhere , it was a terrible experience as I mentioned…I won’t get too much into because no one will read a 2 page essay . DO NOT GO HERE .

UPDATE : after a week getting them done the second time , I took them all off easily because they all cracked . My real nails are now ruined and became very sensitive because of how they were filed down with...

Unprofessional service...I went to get my nails done for my wedding. My nail broke the same day I was traveling to my Destination wedding. I went the same day I was traveling to have a fresh set of nails. I had an appointment early I left like 3-4 hour later. The owner was the one that seen me and she never once use the acrylic hand piece machine, only filer! I was in pain.. the shapes of the nails were not the same, horrible. The design line was not done correctly uneven line. The artificial nails was not the size for my finger size. While at the airport my nail broke after spending $110 not including tip. No skills design at all, no knowledge of artificial nails. If you don’t have the tools or don’t know how to do nails then don’t see the customer. This was very unfair and unprofessional service, poor quality products & work.I had to choice but lot leave like this because I had a flight to catch. I couldn’t have expected more because she didn’t even have a motor machine. FYI there were bubbles and dust on the nail color. Look...

i had a nail that broke off this morning so i wanted to just freshen up today with a new set of nails. so i came in with 9 long nails and one short one. the lady was prepping my nails and about to start putting color on my nails but i had to remind her to put a tip on the broken one because she never did. was she really just gonna let me walk out with 1 short nails while the other 9 are like an inch long ? (i just come home and that tip just popped off and i got out of there 20 mins ago). the polish that i chose was dry and running out and the lady had to go over each nail 7-9 times and now they look bumpy and weird instead of just getting another bottle. i told her i wanted almost shaped nails and got coffin but bubbly. i asked her if she could fix the shape 2 times ! and it looked the same. i was there for 2 hours just for one color...
