Li & U Nail Inc — Local services in New York

I recently visited Li & Li Nail Inc for eyebrow services, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite my specific requests, the outcome did not meet my expectations, and I was shocked to be asked to pay the full price for a service that fell short. The staff seemed indifferent to my concerns, and the lack of accountability was disheartening. The final result not only failed to capture my preferences but also required additional correction elsewhere. I expected professionalism and attention to detail, but sadly, these were lacking. To add to the frustration, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, the staff insisted that my eyebrows looked even. However, a substantial chunk was taken off, and it will now take weeks for them to grow back. This disregard for the impact on my appearance and the dismissive attitude further compounded my disappointment. The fact that I was still asked to pay the full price, despite the evident shortcomings, reflects a lack of customer-centric approach and raises serious questions about the salon's commitment to customer satisfaction. My nails were done beautifully and my nail tech was patient with me. I got acrylics with gel color and a design done in an hour 45 minutes. I called ahead to make an appointment two days prior and they honored that. The whole experience was lovely until the end… As soon as I sat down I asked how much the service would be after showing her a picture of what I wanted. She said $52. Then at the end, she wrote me a receipt for $57 and I said I thought we said 52 and her response was oh yes but for French it’s extra five dollars and design is another five dollars… But isn’t French a design itself? I don’t like feeling like I’ve been played and I definitely felt this way after that which is unfortunate because everything else was so nice. Got treated to my first mani/pedi here at 9. I'm now [much older], and this is still my absolute go-to when getting my nails done. Every employee has always been incredibly nice through the years and it’s still true. Very courteous if you're in a rush or show up last minute. You will not get nails this nice for such a great price anywhere...
