The security at this venue needs to be trained to work with people.
Me and my friends (4 females) left this establishment after a show and hung around the exit in hope of seeing the band leave. There was a larger crowd doing the same.
We were all told the band is not there and we need to leave because we’re disturbing the next door neighbors: finding the request reasonable me and my 3 other friends went across the street and sat on a bench and started chatting.
All of a sudden, 2 security guards approached us. One of them - Caucasian, 30s, kind of bulky with greasy hair pulled back in a ponytail - mumbled something at us. I asked him to repeat it, he barked at me “I said it already”. Then he proceeded to tell us that he will call the police on us for “loitering”. At a bench in a public space. On Eastern Parkway… In New York City… Did I mention we were 4 females 20s/30s dressed for a night out?

Read moreSaw The Voidz there last night. Best concert ever. All of the staff there was extremely nice and helpful. Only sad part was my seats were blocked by a last minute GA sale but still had a blast. Wish I could of known about the bracelets later that night too so I could of hung out for the after party. I had golden circle tickets and they gave me a free t shirt for the misunderstanding which was cool just was a little sad at some parts. Still overall great experience, great staff and amazing atmosphere. I would love to go to another show there. If you have any questions you can call them too and they get right back to you...

Its inconspicuousness probably comes down to the fact that it’s located inside of a synagogue on a low key stretch of Eastern Parkway. The interior of the building itself is gorgeous and intricate – definitely an interesting location for a concert. A bar is located on the third floor with beer, wine and snacks. Note: do not come here expecting to dance/twerk/mosh.
There was some confusion about our tickets but the box office was incredibly helpful and quick to resolve. We left happy and I look forward to the next show I...
