😰 This quiet park in Brooklyn is in danger of being paved with concrete to build a skate park! But the problem is that this proposed skate park would only bake under sun. Here’s Hayley Gorenberg talking about how Mount Prospect Park may not make for the best skate park location. What do you think? #ecofriendly #nyclife

Lovely park with lots of space to roam. Playground for kids, lots of benches and shady areas if you need a rest, large open spaces where people can gather or play games. Saw a nice group playing frisbee. People let their dogs off leash here but they're all well-behaved, running around having fun together. There's a good amount of people enjoying the space but it's far from being too crowded or busy, there's still plenty of quiet areas if you just want to sit and chat or enjoy a bit of outdoor serenity. There was a little bit of litter, as in any city park, but it wasn't very much and it wasn't all over the place. All in all a really lovely spot.

A wonderful place to take our granddaughter to run around, place on the swingsets, and ride her scooter. Clean, well lit. Wide open paths conducive to bikers and runners, & walkers. It has a very good vibe and we have met many people with whom ours can play. Great place to burn off energy and get exercise! A lot of parents leave their children's older toys for others to enjoy.

The level of off leash violations all day in this park makes it unsafe for those of us who walk our dogs on leashes as the law requires. It is not a dog run. It is a park for people to be able to enjoy walking, running, biking and walking their dogs without concern they will be mauled, accosted or attacked by someone's dog. I have lived in the neighborhood for nearly 40 years and the level of disregard for leash laws is very troubling. There are specific hours that dogs can be off leash and they need to be honored. It is everyone's park, not only those with dogs. The off leash hours are 6-9 am and 9 pm-1 am. Please...

Nice park, but dog owners need to keep their dogs in the circle, which is the designated area. Someone should be in this park to enforce the rules. I was working out on my mat and a dog proceeds to run up to me and stand on my mat and drop his ball in front of me, before you start, it was not in the circle. It was outside of the circle where humans are actually allowed to be. Of course, the owner began to preach about how his dog is friendly and yada yada yada, but that was besides the point. Now I know that sounds cute and everything, but I'm not a fan. And for that Mount Prospect Park you...
