Best way to explore the 5 Burroughs.

Hand down.

Only $4 each way for the regular service. You cannot beat that!

I just wish all these ferries existed long ago, back when I could have really benefited from the service.

Better late than never, eh?

Things to expect: Go to the 1/2/3 Wall Street stop Arrive 30 minutes early if you want a seat up top during the warm days Bring a sweater even for warm days because the ocean breeze can get chilly, especially at night Be nice to the crew

This summer I plan to explore every ferry line. Just hop on in Manhattan and see where the ferry takes me to see on the other end.

For $4 bucks you just...

This service sucks. The service staff Is very very unfriendly. We asked for information regarding our tickets, if It worked even if we stopped in Long Island and than took another boat. The man said that the ticket worked for 2 hours. But when we arrived at the second boat after visiting Long Island for 20 minutes, the service man (a boy really unfriend), said that our tickets are one way tickets, we spent ONE MINUTE buying the tickets at the machine two steps in front of the gate but the man closed the gate in our face. No words. 16 dollars for THIS...

The best form of public transport in the city, hands down. You could literally just ride the ferry all day for like 3 bucks. There's a bar onboard. It's a brilliant job by the city. They were so cool about us capturing these engagement photos, as long as there were not lighting instruments on stands (which is impossible on a boat). The wind can be intense but if it makes for fun, energetic shots when the hair goes wild. I wouldn't do a proposal on a ferry but it's a great place to take...

Received exceptional professional service from Anthony and Tyrel at Brooklyn Cruise Terminal when returning from our cruise on 9th September. They were friendly, helpful and informative and gave good advice on a route back to 34th St to catch the LIRR back to Jamaica Station from Penn. This is also a great way to get some fantastic photographs of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges and Empire State and Chrysler Buildings.
