THIS PLACE IS A TRAP. PLEASE DON'T COME HERE. I went all the way to this location just to pick up my wedding dress from David's Bridal because they are the only location that had my dress for me to try on. I came all the way from the Bronx so this area is very new to me. After David's Bridal, I went to buy from Danice and National Wholesale Liquidators (I HAVE ALL RECEIPTS AS PROOF) since it's an area that I would think is a parking similar to Co-Op City, Bay Plaza and Cross County Mall. Across these stores, I have decided to go to Marshalls since my thinking was, they're all sharing the same parking spot. I came back an hour after and our car was missing. Turned out they did tow it. We went all the way to Maspeth, NY to pick it up. I showed these scammers proof that I did buy from the patronized stores. Being new to the place, I didn't think that Marshalls, Five Below and stores across aren't part of their "private" land. But give me a break! I have spent more than $700 on those 3 stores alone. They kept showing us the video of just us crossing that perimeter. I tried to tell them to show a video at 3:45-5:30 PM that we were on those 3 stores. Of course they refused to do that because it's a money making technique. The guy from the towing company even said "How are we going to feed our kids if you don't pay?". WE WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY TOO BUT IN A TRUTHFUL WAY. We kept explaining we weren't from the area and this was supposed to be a happy day - i just went there to get my wedding dress! The signs were also placed in such an odd location that cars would definitely cover them if packed (it was a Sunday). THIS PLACE IS A TRAP. BEWARE.
PS: The place really looked like a common parking lot for all other stores. Again, we are new and never been on the area. We will be reaching out to BBB and to the city to try to get these crooks out of here! If you want to profit from this "private" parking lot, better just make people pay for the space rather that scamming them. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS...
Read moreIf I could leave 0 stars, I would. This place has a towing racket and preys on shoppers who cross the street. Honestly, they’re taking advantage of customers. Tow truck company hooked my car right in front of me. Told me they’d let me go if I pay them $68 in cash and made sure to mention they don’t provide change. They said if I called the cops their fee would go up. I asked for a receipt and never got one.
I’m never shopping in your “mall” again. This is why places like this are going out of business. I’ll be giving my money to Amazon. This is just bad business. Any trickle over shopping that happens in your mall from Marshall’s, Old Navy and Stop and Shop is a real benefit that you profit off of. Ever wonder why stores do better when they’re grouped together? Because people don’t want to go all over town just to get all their shopping done.
This is sleazy, bad business, but legal. You know what else is legal? Not spending my money there again and warning other...
Read moreThis location is good with a few large businesses that are well known. You can come here to find most of your necessities for home, food and clothing. Plus you also have more choices to choose from right across the street with more stores/businesses but read on about this parking lot. This is my reason for my review staying neutral with a 3 star rating.
This location has a very large parking lot area for many cars to park at as you do your shopping. A main problem that has been more of a norm lately. Even if you shop at these stores located in this plaza and cross the street. They will tow your vehicle. So make sure you leave with your car if you cross the street. Take the time to read more of the reviews with 1 star rating so you can see the horror stories of other customers. Even some who spent money at this plaza and then cross the street, also got their...
