Dear Burlington Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with an experience I had at your store on 10/16/2025. What started as a visit to my favorite Burlington location quickly turned into one of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had, all due to the behavior of one of your cashiers, Stephanie. When we approached the cashier, Stephanie, there was no greeting, no welcoming gestures just a cold, dismissive look. When my 14-year-old sister responded "Yes" twice to her question about needing a bag, Stephanie rolled her eyes and handled our items in a disrespectful manner. My mother, who speaks only Spanish, was confused by her attitude and tried to defend my sister. Instead of de-escalating the situation, Stephanie grabbed all of our items and passed them to another cashier, stating that she wasn’t going to deal with “rude customers.” It is important to note that the situation started due to her unprofessional behavior. The situation escalated further when we attempted to calm down, and Stephanie continued her verbal abuse. She insulted my mother, calling her a "stupid old lady" in Spanish, and when I responded to defend my family, she threatened to fight us. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable from any employee, and I am deeply disturbed by it.We requested to speak to a manager, but unfortunately, the manager was unavailable due to the store nearing closing time and was busy counting money. While I understand that, the lack of resolution to this situation was incredibly frustrating. This experience was traumatic, not only for my family but also for anyone who might encounter the same treatment in the future. I trust that Burlington takes these matters seriously, and I hope that you will investigate the incident and take appropriate action. We are aware that the store has cameras, and the other cashier (whose name I don’t recall) tried to de-escalate the situation, for which I am grateful.I have been a loyal customer of Burlington, but after this experience, I will not be returning to this location. I hope no one else has to endure such...
Read moreReading the comments I’m kind of shocked there are such negative reviews. I read too many reviews saying how disorganized every clothing rack is or how there’s garbage in some areas but honestly that isn’t their faults. The people who walk through the door, costumers, are the ones who misplace items and I don’t think it’s the stores fault that we humans are lazy and place anything in a wrong area because it’s too far to go back to. I am guilty of this, but I have stopped. Countless of people still do this and it’s not the employees of Burlington job to be right behind us to organize our mess on the spot when it’s just going to occur again. I have also seen people throw their trash inside the hampers, leave their drinks near the kitchen section. It’s crazy but Burlington shouldn’t be blamed for this. Yes it is overwhelming to see clothing misplaced based on their size but I kind of enjoy it. It’s like a thrift store, you can find hidden gems in the men’s section or a beautiful dress in the jeans section. I enjoy just taking my time going to every section, yes I sometimes get upset if I find a nice top in the large section but realizing it’s a small. It’s happens though, so you just got to have patience and look for it. Oh and before I end this review, the employees are so nice. I went to Burlington yesterday and the women with the shirt blond hair that was in the changing room was so kind and patient with me. I probably have gone 11 times into the dressing room because once I got out I always found something nice to try on. Also the cashier that was checking out my items was so kind as well. She folded my clothes so neatly. I bought so much clothes there and I felt so bad that she was nicely folding everything I got. I gave here two dollars as a tip but unfortunately they can’t accept tips. I was so sad cause she definitely deserved it but I understand. And lastly as I was wheeling my cart to the exit this other women helped me with my bags, offered to take the cart back to its place and wished me a good day. This small gestures made my day and I will define out going back! Thank you so much...
Read moreI’m giving this Burlington a one star because it just felt weird being there. Have you ever walked into a store and maybe took two steps and was met by a barricade blocking your entrance and having to wait to be let in by a security guard?! Well that’s what happened today when I went shopping there today. Concerned; I asked the guard why the door to enter was blocked and she shrugged me off stating “this is what they make me do.” Baffled I walked the floor and immediately saw a line that was nearly 50 people standing looking frustrated. The store is as big as a football field and never have I seen so many barricades in the form of tables, metal cages and stacked merchandise. For example, I was in the shoe section and if you enter near the back you cannot exit towards the front! I had to literally make my own exit by squeezing between two display tables filled with merchandise. When I found this shortcut out, I saw 3 people on my heels trying to break free of this maze like prison!! I’d had enough and decided to leave but when I saw that dang barricade to the exit I thought, let me go speak to a manager maybe they could ease my mind of why I felt like I was in amaze like prison. When I entered the cash wrap area, I saw to employees who looked like if they could walk out and never come back they would! I asked to speak to a manager and the guy just echoed what I said “you wannnnnaaaa speak to a manager?!” I thought I was being punk’d! Long story short the guy called the manager on a walkie with no headset and the manager basically was like “what do they want” and never came. I got the managers name (ERIC) and left! Wild!!!...
