Update: called and made an appointment . Came here on time. Came for a wash and dry and possible trim since I had split ends. I was told a price on the phone. But a different price in check out (I was there from 130-4ish i was drained) There was a lot of breakage in my hair. So I was told it needs a cut. ...I asked to keep the length and that I have layers... well I went from a nice length to very short and chopped cut hair. I didn't have this look at all... I wasn't going to write this review but my coworkers at my job are all in shock on what my hair looks like right now. Not one compliment. I'm honestly very upset. And the whole point i went to this appointment was because I had a date that evening. The person I went out with that night was very upset & shocked at what happped to my hair as well... honestly I was grateful to Peter , but I'm dissatisfied and it's very very dissapointing. I not only have a harsh chopped layer look as my coworkers state but but also very short hair... so much for keeping my length.

Previous review: I had a wonderful experience here. I was in the neighborhood and was looking to get a quick wash, dry, and fresh cut to restore my hair. 🦋I called the place, and they answered and had availability 🦋I got a very fair price for what I asked. 🦋Gina was very professional and told me everything she was doing from start to finish. She made me feel very comfortable. She dried & styled my hair and I left the place very satisfied. 🦋nice location, and good atmosphere

Rihanna did an excellent job with my hair cut and took care to ensure I had an appointment. I would highly recommend her! I must say though customer service and front desk attendance is horrible. I called this Tuesday to make an appointment for Friday. The woman on the phone kept putting me down for the wrong date despite me politely telling her I wanted to come this week not next. I called today to see if I can move up my appointment a day earlier and was told by another receptionist that my appointment was never put in the books for Friday. Clearly the woman who made my initial appointment never put me in the book. Sadly the staff there today confirmed this is a recurring issue of forgetting to write down appointments. A hair salon is a business that relies on good customer service to function especially in this economy. I would have been livid if I had shown up Friday and had no appointment. That would have been totally disrespectful of my time and money. I hope this does not happen to future customers but future customers confirm who you speak with at the front desk and ensure they put you in the book. It’s mind boggling they don’t have an electronic booking system in 2023! Also they don’t accept credit card and insisted I pay cash without informing me - thank god I had cash on me. Thank you Rihanna for making this experience...

Update 1/21/25: I got my hair cut by Peter, and he ruined my hair. I asked for a trim and face framing which he took as cut whatever pieces he could cut. I had LAYERS, not breakage, and now the ends are all choppy. My hair feels more broken now and it looks thin. He cut some random layer (which I didn’t ask for, I CAME TO CUT OFF ONE INCH, A TRIM). He kept pushing me to buy his straightening treatment or shampoos. My hair is not “staticky” because I use Pantene, it is because he straightened my CURLY hair without heat protectant. He also cut my face framing from a side part when I came in with a middle one, and then tried to gaslight me into thinking my part was there. No it’s not, you didn’t even ask before cutting. He messed up up because his haircut from the middle looks uneven and he tried to pin this on me. When he was “trying” to fix it he just kept cutting more hair AT THE ENDS so I jumped out of the chair.

My other complaints would be that they didn’t clean their tools. I saw blonde strands in the brush he was using- I have jet black hair. Genuinely heartbroken over this experience- I lost most of my hair due to health issues and now it will take years for it to grow back again. look at the pics to see just how...
