Came to try the place after seeing them on Instagram. Food was above average but felt a little weird by the counter person, most likely the owner. I wanted to try the iced coffee, which they serve in a can, but she told me they were out of the cans. While we were dining, another family came and ordered the iced coffee, which was served in a can. When I asked her about it, she said it was a 20-oz can? I'm not sure what that means and why I was denied or not informed about different sizes? The only menu I saw definitely didn't say anything about different sizes. I didn't bother that time, but now that I am looking at different reviews and the owners' responses to them, I have a feeling about what might have happened.
A few suggestions to the owner/ the lady behind the counter. You opened a business in a predominantly South asian community, I am sorry to break it to you. Yes, Floral Park and New Hyde Park are now filled with people from different origins. Be more welcoming and open to serving them with the same amount of respect you would serve a white person. Feel free to share your thoughts like you did with other reviews. Also, please stop saying you will be making a police report just because someone gave you a bad review. This just sounds absurd and silly to anyone with any knowledge of law.
Also, why were you asking if I wanted to take the empty creme brulee ramekin home? Just weird..
Okay, now coming to the point.

Read moreI live around the neighborhood for a while, and didn’t noticed of this cafe until my boyfriend mentioned it. One thing I noticed that there’s no pictures hang ( which I was told the owners don’t want pics hang). I like the light feature, unique. I also noticed there’s a few things they need to fixed. They open back in 2022, and when I sat down, one thought on mind is this will be consider a small local cafe, since every person that walked in, they know the employee. Which is ok, since it’s quiet outside.
One thing that I was disappointed was about the croissant which they didn’t had at the moment, so I ordered a cinnamon roll, pretty good, soft and not too sweet. I ordered the coconut latte with regular milk and it was ok. That’s why my rate is 4.5 since the employee, (which I think her name is Michelle) is friendly with the customers.
I normally very vocal when it comes to cafe or bakery that has to do with Paris, and I could say this place needs a little bit of work in design. I’m not saying go all the way but a little touch with some pics of the food they have and Paris scenes it would be a good idea.
Needless to say, I have to come back to taste...
Read moreI came here specifically for the crème brûlée iced latte, but unfortunately, they didn’t have it. I tried the everything croissant and the spinach croissant — heads up, the “everything croissant” is a sweet cheese danish with everything seasoning on top. Definitely not what I expected and way too sweet.
Also, the iced coffee cups looked nothing like the ones in the photos or past reviews…a bit disappointing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place
Owners response: Did you look at the menu at the cafe? Must be a first time visit. we do not sell that drink during the summer. It's like walking into Starbucks and asking for a pumpkin spice latte during summer.
HAHAHA
So you’re comparing your locally owned business to Starbucks? That’s wild. Also, you never mentioned the drink was seasonal when I ordered, you just said you were out. I actually tried to be generous by giving 3 stars, but based on your response, 1 star is more accurate. This place really isn’t worth it. Save yourself the trouble and just go to...
