A Must-Try NYC Ferry Experience!

The NYC Ferry is hands-down one of the best ways to get around the city — convenient, reliable, and surprisingly relaxing. The schedule is very accommodating, and the ferry arrived right on time. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the onboard snack bar is definitely a plus!

I’m a local, but today I decided to play tourist and enjoy the skyline from the water. The ride was smooth, the staff was friendly, and sitting outside with the fresh breeze made it even better.

The fares are very reasonable, and the ferry stops are perfectly located near great restaurants, coffee spots, and entertainment areas — perfect for a quick stop before heading back.

Buying tickets is super easy, whether at the terminal using cash or card, or through the ferry app.

Whether you’re visiting or just rediscovering New York from a new angle, I highly recommend...

We took the ferry from Dumbo Brooklyn to Pier 11/ Wall Street and then the next ferry from Wall Street to Rockaway with just one stop on the way. The first ride was just 4 minutes but the second was almost an hour. Due to the slightly rough weather it was turbulent in parts but when it became too much they brought the ferry to a stop and then continued at a slower pace. Because of the weather and being a weekday afternoon there were very few people on the boat. I missed out on the senior citizen discount because I was unaware of it and didn't...

Excellent way to get to Lower Manhattan (also stops at the Brooklyn Army Terminal). Clam trip, captain slows the ferry down when crossing wakes from other vessels so it's not to bumpy... Parking at the moment is parallel parking on the streets where you can find it. Read the signs for street sweeping times.... Parking lot across the street now is owned and operated by the hotel down the block. I guess you can pay but as per sign you need to get a ticket at the hotel. Idk if you need to be a...
