Target — Local services in New York

The Gateway Mall Target is always clean and the staff no matter how young or old always try to assist and if that is not possible they will literally search for another associate to help you. The food is always fresh with great prices and you can literally do your whole grocery shopping there. Plant based, vegan, vegetarian, soy, oat, almond and other selections of healthy living food and drink products to choose from. Frozen foods, chicken, beef, turkey and pork if that's what you eat. It gets very busy and a little crowded over the weekend but you still get what you need because they are always restocking throughout the day when it is very busy like that.

They have a very good home decor section though a tad bit pricey at time but a lot cheaper than some other home decor businesses. For those individuals that love makeup, skin and hair products and accessories, this Target location has it all. I usually start out heading to Sephora on the other side of the shopping center but by the time I am done with Target make up and hair isles there is usually no reason for me to go spend more money on social media hyped Sephora when I get every self care and makeup products that I am very satisfied with from Target.

Oh and my 7 yr old loves helping me and when we go on any isle I tell him the name of what we need and due to the clean and neat shelves he feels like a future husband on a mission lol. Only thing is the bathrooms are being remodeled but there are plenty of clean porta potties around. I haven't used them but bathroom attendants will make an acception for the little ones. Ameen for that! Lol

In my opinion the vibe is like a smaller but modern version of a BJ's and Costco type of shopping in this Target but with a better selection of home decor...

Yesterday, my wife and I went shopping at the Target in Spring Creek, Brooklyn NY. As we are both disabled and walk with the aid of walkers, getting around the store was difficult, but not impossible. It usually is the custom of some stores to provide aid to disabled customers who are having difficulty with finding items; especially, when finding sizes requires bending and sorting while on that position. As conscientious people, we did our best, without assistance, to keep the cubbies that contained the articles of clothing in the same neat order in which we found them. Still no one appeared to assist. Now, at least three employees noticed/knew we were there as we asked them where we could find the department and items needed. To add to the difficulty, the store's air conditioning was sub-par and we were perspiring profusely in out efforts. I was dizzy and my wife desperate to sit down someplace cooler. As we were ready to checkout, I noticed that the line was very long. There were at least 15 to 20 people waiting. We decided to rest first near the Starbucks refreshment area. I noticed an employee named Emily come to register 20 and I asked her if the store had some provision to assist the disabled when checking out. She replied apologetically, that there was nothing and that the self checkout was blocked off. Seeing our plight, she graciously offered to check us out for which were very grateful. I want to commend to you the actions of Emily to assist us and make an onerous shopping experience end on a very high note. Emily, if you read this, I hope you have a very happy life and achieve all your personal goals. You are a star...

A pick up order for 4 packet of shrimps and 3 tins of corn shouldn’t take u guys 6 hours like what is wrong with you people ?? And they never answer the phone!!! I’ve been calling since around 10am and I’m writing this review at 3:08pm!!! At this point I’m just going to go to the store and do their job for them and bring the items to the pick up area since they clearly cannot do the job themselves!!!

Updated: so I went to the store, got there at 4:15pm went to the pick up area and ask the young lady with long braids if she can get my order since I’m here. She said I’ll have to cancel the order and go pick it up in the store I mentioned how ridiculous it was to wait 6 hours for some packet of shrimps and 3 tins of corn. Then my order miraculously was ready I took the bag and was leaving then realized the bag was super light and didn’t feel Cold only to open the bag and see NO SHRIMPS. It took them almost 6 HOURS AND ME DRIVING TO THE STORE TO ONLY BE HANDED A BAG WITH MY MAKN ITEM MISSING. What a complete waste of time, TARGET CLEARLY DOESNT VALUE PEOPLES TIME and to make matters worse when I got home and pull out the tins of corn, these were what I was greeted with!! I never buy anything in damage tins!!! TARGET WORKERS SHOULD NOT BE PUTTING THESE DAMAGE ITEMS THAT PEOPLE SPEND MONEY FOR AND WASTE THEIR GAS GETTING TO THE STORE FOR TO GIVE THEM DAMAGE ITEMS AND HAVE MOST OF THEIR ITEMS MISSINGS. I’m very very very disappointed. Now all of these tins of corn are garbage. I’ll NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FOR PICK UP FROM THEM ANYMORE....
