Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in New York

The service was terrible, the unlimited, buffalo wings and fries what's a joke. They actually put a number on unlimited!!! the first round is 10 wings then after that is.. 6 , unlimited means unlimited!!!! Not a set amount !!!I don't know how they even call those wings!! they look like little chicken nuggets.. pretty much false advertising, the manager was rude to my friend!!!she said we was trying to get a free meal, when what we complained about was actually true that the food sucked and so did the service .we never said we wasnt going to pay , all we was asking is to do the right thing, which was bring out a dam platter instead of nickle and diming us with the wings , how you going to bring out ten then ,then 6 every 20 minutes, just ridiculous and stupid. Like I said that is not unlimited. Any way my friend calmly went over to the manager and told her the waiting in between for the next round of wings was to long and made no sense ,they also brought out smaller portions of the fries ,just amazing lol. When my friend was walking back to the table after making her complaints to that ghetto azz manager,that came in late , that manager had the nerve to start yelling walking towards our table , saying since we complaining so much she going to cash us out , meaning we wasnt going to be charged anything, we was like ok no problem, even though that's not what we wanted . We just wanted better service period food wise and service wise . So instead of just cashing us out , this manager insults us and loudly says that was the plan anyway to get a free meal. Whoa !! That was the wrong thing to say to my friend, my friend cursed her out letting her know ,we have money , we had every intention to pay , we didn't ask to be cashed out . On top of that ,that ghetto azz manager said ,they trying not to pay after eating all those wings , lol wow what a ignorant moron . The orders we had was the 19.99 supposedly all you can eat wings which was mines , my friend ordered the six or eight buffalo wings that's all she had , oh almost forgot the 19.99 unlimited was boneless , so there was no bones on my plate since it was boneless, so all that ignorant manager saw was ,6 to ten bones on my friends plate , so what is she talking about, all what wings ? But see this is what happens when you come in two hours late ,then come on the scene ,thinking you know what your talking about . Why I say this , is because when we first complained to the women server, she said the manager is not here yet . We was there already a half hour to 45 minutes that manager didn't come to about a hour and a half later , wild wings can check the video , who know that chick probably is stealing time ,to come in that late and feel that comfortable to talk to customers like she did us , almost forgot it almost came to blows with the manager and my friend. If it wasn't for the server getting in between they definitely would of fought . The manager was a williing participant , she told the server to move she wanted the smoke . As a manager you supposed to de-escalate not escalate. Like I said she was just ghetto. Anyway this is a revisement of my review, because I did get in touch with corporate. They said they would get back to me which they never did, this is going on 3 weeks now. This shows you, the dysfunction of this company, from top to bottom. Probably they need undercover Boss, because this is not the only location where there are plenty of complaints, about the service of this company. And by them not getting back to me, shows you how concerned they are about, their brand, do your self a favor don't bother with this place , especially if you are in gateway Mall , there are way better options then this place I'm sure this franchise will be out of business in a few years . Terrible experience. The service was bad and the food was bad. I came with a group and we were sat inside. I asked a worker if they can change a Channel for me and after asking twice I eventually gave up and asked a different worker. I then had to ask a 3rd worker to do it and when they did they ended up turning on the wrong tv so at that point I just gave up. After our order came we were never checked on ever again to see if we wanted anything else. The food was the worst I’ve ever had in a Buffalo Wild Wings. Everything was cold and the place was super empty so I’m not sure what took the food so long to get to us. Our order was incomplete and when we went to ask about it the /waitress told us that the rest of it was on its way. I guess we were just supposed to assume that? Not professional. Afterwards when the rest of the food came we didn’t see our waitress ever again. The next time she came by she rudely put the bill on our table instead of asking us if we wanted to order anything else. We ignored the bill and continued our stay. During the sporting event the TVs randomly showed someone changing the Chanel’s to only god knows what channel. Didn’t understand that at all. The channels changed during a huge moment in the event and it really ruined the experience for us. The entire restaurant was clearly watching what was on TV. To make matters worse not a single server came by to clear our tables out of food. After an entire Hour after we asked for to go bags we decided to just toss all our plates on a different table because it’s disgusting that we had to sit there for over an hour to have our tables cleared. Our plates didn’t get removed from the table we placed our stuff on for another hour which to me was pure comedy to see. Also forgot to mention when we asked the second worker to change the Chanel they made a rude comment which I have zero energy to explain over this review. After this terrible experience we left and idk what possessed me to leave a tip but I did and I regret going here all together. Atlantic center BWW was a way more pleasant experience which is a shame because this gateway location is a great looking place with a lot better interior. To ruin the stay even further one of my guests began vomiting from the food about 30 minutes after we left and it seems like they may have had food poisoning. They were sick in bed with an extremely high temp and upset stomach for an entire day after this trip. Long story short this location has terrible food (it’s not hard to fry some chicken wings) and terrible service. I will say however the drinks were good and the only way I can ever see myself coming back is for a drink at the bar to watch the Yankees game. Last night (8/5/25) me and my son decided to go eat at this location because we actually really enjoy their wings . I’ve been here on several different occasions but last night was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had ! First of all when we walk in there’s nobody at the door to greet us giving that it was relatively EMPTY for 8 pm on a Tuesday night. I’m like great that means we’ll get our food fast we were STARVING . The sign says wait to be seated so we waited . After about 7 mins a male worker walks by shoos us off like he don’t have time and continues to go to the back very nasty attitude we brush it off and continue to wait . Another young lady with braces walks over sees us standing there and doesn’t greet us at all she starts fidgeting with the computer back turnt OK WE continue to wait after several minutes she starts helping another customer who was already inside I say to myself let me just let her finish with her then she’ll get to us WRONG. I politely ask her should we wait to be seated or find our own table ? she starts mumbling under her breath I ask her to repeat herself because I can’t hear her over the music she ignores me after she’s done with the customer she starts walking back and fourth talking to another female worker with a long ponytail as if we aren’t standing there . They both keep looking at us but not helping/seating us . My son tells me mom just stay calm because at this point I’m getting very much irritated at the unprofessionalism mainly because I came outside to enjoy a little date night with my son and get some good wings but that wasn’t the case at all. Once I seen I was just standing there waiting for NOTHING i walked out ! I took my child and my money to a different establishment where the customer service is way better. It’s said when it’s your own people ( yes we are all BLACK ) this is one of the last dine in locations in Brooklyn and it’s sad it’s being ran by a bunch of rude young people . HIRE BETTER WORKERS BECAUSE THE ONES YOU HAVE NOW CLEARLY HATE THEIR JOB . I guess next time I’m craving wings I’ll go to one of the TO GO locations...
