I went here to return some items for my daughter that we ordered online and honestly, this was the first time that I had ever went to a Childrenâs Place store.
Immediately upon entry, I was greeted by one of the staff members. She asked if she could be of service and that was a pleasant experience.
I went to the register to return the items but found out that the actual card used to purchase the items were also needed to make the return, but I did not have it with me, as it was not my card.
One of the staff members nearby was listening to my situation and offered a store credit since I did not have the card on my person at the time. I was pleased by this as I did not even ask and they were thinking ahead of other possible ways to ensure that I was satisfied. I declined the offer.
I thanked the man who made the store credit offer and then asked to speak to a manager. He said that he and another person were the managers. At this point, I extended my sincerest thanks for the HIGH LEVEL of customer service that EVERY single staff member showed me. That was very much appreciated as many businesses do not seem to operate with customer service, so you can understand why I was so appreciative of their attention to detail when it came to customer service.    Read moreThis time when I came, I must say the cashier was a bit more friendly. I spend a lot of money on pick up orders and I come in just to shop for gifts at this Gateway Drive location. The staff that is employed here is not friendly and not very helpful. They don't smile and usually they go about their business trying not to interact with the customers. I have to say when I came to shop right at the end of June, one associate made a big difference... so I gave 4 stars. I have to pick an online order up this Sunday, August 25th so I'll inform you if the 4 stars remain or not. Lol... I can't say that I will shop somewhere else because I love their clothes for children and this is the only place that I can shop for all my nieces and nephews at all of their ages from months old to teens!    Read moreThis store has TERRIBLE customer service and never answers the phone, I asked the cashier where do I pickup online orders and she just said "line sir" I waited about 30 minutes on the line the for about 30 minutes then when I am to be called next to the register, the same lady asked me to step OFF the line and her employee will help me in a second because of my online pickup smh.. Then the couldn't find my order, so for 3 days I have been calling the online for the childrens place and the actual store at gateway... neither answered but I just got a text saying my order will expire tomorrow 12-11-2024 if I don't come pick up smh... We shall see what happens today when I reappear. Customer service should ALWAYS be #1 priority especially in a KIDS...
