I purchased a Le Creuset 5.5qt dutch oven from The Peppermill online and it was delivered with damage that was not disclosed, scratches in the enamel on the bottom and lid. It's a pretty expensive item to not be in perfect quality when received. I think what bothers me most is that I tried contacting them via phone, email, and through the webform and never received a response back. I would have paid for return shipping so that a replacement could have been sent but at this point I realize I'm just stuck with this one. At least it was the right size/color and if I turn the lid to the back you can't see the damage unless you are looking for it so it is otherwise a beautiful addition to my kitchen. I never leave review for places and I've only ordered online from this place but the customer service was helpful and they even put little Christmas ribbons on the gift, added a greeting card and recipe cards!
