I ordered food that had to be thrown to the trash immediately because it contained leftovers. I assumed the cause was due to the holiday and maybe the restaurant was extremely busy. I thought I'd give them a second chance. A few days later, my friends invited me to a wedding that was catered by Emir Palace. The plates that held the food were cracked. I wasn't sure that that was appropriate for a wedding. The cold cuts were dry which seemed like they were previously used on another event or evening. When I asked a waiter to change the plate of cold cuts, he took the plate and instead of heading to the kitchen, where I assumed he'd go, he went to another table and switched the plate, brining back a plate of cold cuts from another table. For your information, it was dry as well. I was so invested in seeing whether or not they were conscious enough to complete the job in a proper manner. I was shocked to see that every table had different variations of salads which seemed weird to me because every table is supposed to have the same salads. The service of all waiters was insanely poor because they all played the role of the manager. The manager himself only appeared towards the end of the wedding which is absurd because he is supposed to be consistently present in the evening, helping guests with any questions they have instead of hiding behind doors like an idiot. I am incredibly disappointed with the service of this restaurant because they lack professionalism. Next time I will be sure to ask who the caterers are before attending a wedding because I sure don't want to ever go through this ridiculous...
Read moreI was invited to a wedding tonight,, currently sitting and writing this as I'm seeing everything happening. The wedding is being held in The Metropolitan Ballroom, and I just had to leave this review after continous displeasure from the catering services of Emir Palace. I have been to The Metropolitan Ballroom countless times and can distinguish their food from food made by caterers. Tonight's wedding in particular, one I'm currently sitting in and writing right now, was a complete fail in terms of service and food. The food is absolutely awful, lacking any flavor it seems to present. The presentation isn't good either, completely disorganized and messy. As for the service as a whole, the waiters are also in constant disarray. Had one waiter completely ignore my request for more water, giving me a snarky glance and walking away. Absolutely ridiculous. What makes this worse is how many guests assumed that this food was made by The Metropolitan Ballroom and not Emir Palace. The lack of accountability from their side is truly disrespectful and shameful. I do not recommend this restaurant and catering service to anyone. Please do not book them for your event nor visit their restaurant, save your time and find a different place to have an actual edible plate of food.
P.S. The Metropolitan Ballroom should no longer accept them into their restaurant as they are ruining their image as a catering hall. Emir Palace is just using their place to paint a pretty picture for...
Read moreDear my friends be careful with this place. Before you leave deposit they promise you everything. Once you leave deposit they are starting to dictate on you. I catch them on their lie. They showed me pictures how they are going to decorate my event. Later on I saw those pics on VIP flowers account. When I show them those pics they told me they will do better than VIP. Also they showed me how they going to decorate my sweet heart table and guest table. On the day of event when I entered I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The owner of the restaurant ignored me he always run away from me. He never listened my complaints. But manager said to me what do you want for that money what you paid. If you don't want to turn to red potato in front of your guests never book any events in that place. PLEASE BE AWARE FROM THIS PLACE. NEVER NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU RESPECT...
