The staff and service at this location was truly AMAZING! This will be my go-to Verizon store from now on, and am grateful for the wonderful service and staff.
I've been a Verizon Wireless customer for over 19 years, and the service we received at the Jackson Heights, NY Verizon Authorized Wireless Retailer store was incomparable, and far exceeded all expectations. When my husband and I first walked in we were only browsing for future phones and not ready to make a purchase. The two gentleman working that day were Roy Singh and Adrian. Roy offered to answer any questions and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful throughout. He answered all questions and wrote down pertinent information, without ever being salesy or pushing us to buy. The customer service was bar none. We purchased a mobile hotspot while there. And when my husband and I left, we knew that when we were ready to commit to phones we wanted to give this Verizon location our business.
We were back there the very next day and greeted by Roy and Adrian again. Roy helped us order phones and contacted us a few days later, when they arrived. When we went in to pick them up we were assisted by a young lady named Lendy who was also very professional, helpful, and kind. Lendy assisted us with our phone set up and accessories, and inquiries. That evening I called the store twice with follow-up questions. Adrian helped me troubleshoot on the phone, once again providing great customer service. Roy and Adrian also gave us 2 extra days to bring in our trade ins while we tested our new phones, which was greatly appreciated.
Without a doubt, I'd recommend this Verizon location to friends and family and am so glad we decided to walk in there that random weekend. Read moreIf I could give Verizon a negative rating, I would. I canceled my service ahead of the billing period and still got charged. The process just to cancel my service was frustrating; the customer representative did not understand their own process and policy. I confirmed this location with them as one where I could return my equipment but when I got there I was told the equipment could not be returned there. The employee basically shrugged their shoulder and said that, yes, the Verizon agents don't always know about return locations. Such perfect apathy and incompetence all rolled into one. Verizon is over-priced, poor quality and horrific customer service. UPDATE: after being told by two customer representatives that the unused post-disconnect portion - half a month of service - would be refunded back to me after being charged for a full month I am now told that is not the case. Verizon took money from me for services not rendered. This company and its representatives are super shady. I should never have switched...
Read moreDon’t get fooled by the 5 star comments, one thing I noticed from the sales person whom supposedly was helping me named Adrain apparently used his friendly customer service only to persuade me to buy more devices from there using the catch of the discounts I would be getting. Adrain was to pestering telling me about several offers I can get and the worst part is that he was not double checking his work or asking me any questions to make sure that the new phone I purchased was going into the correct number on my Verizon account resulting in Adrain to make several mistakes not just one into my Verizon account in which I was later told by Verizon customer service and tech support which caused me to be stuck 6 hours in the phone on a Saturday I truly regret coming here.
