I visited this nail salon about a week ago without an appointment. I called ahead to make sure they had availability, and the new owner (who was very nice) told me to come in. I arrived within 15 minutes and was taken right away. One person started on my toes and another started on my hard gel fill for my nails.

Because both techs were working on me at once, I couldn’t fully pay attention to the details — I trusted their process. I was charged $125 including tip, and it wasn’t until I got home (around 7 PM, near closing time) that I noticed how messy and poorly done my nails looked. They were lumpy, uneven, and just overall not what I’m used to. My thumb nail chipped the same week.

Today, I went to my usual nail tech — who actually works around their salon and she confirmed they didn’t build my nails properly. She had to completely redo the work and only charged me $50.

To make things worse, while I was there, I noticed the staff gossiping and talking badly about each other, assuming customers don’t understand what they’re saying. Just a reminder — you never know who understands and who’s listening.

Last month my daughter got a pedicure done by one of the girls. She must've cut her cuticles too much or dug too deep because by the next day it was very painful for her to walk and wear shoes. We ended up going to urgent care and she had to take antibiotics because it was infected. I even sent photos of her toe to the owner. Over the phone she said that she would get a complimentary pedicure.

Over the weekend she went to get her nails and toes and the owner was well aware of who she was and what had happened to her. While getting her toes done, the girl who did her toes last month sat next to the girl who was doing her toes. She felt uncomfortable because they kept looking at her while talking.

Fast forward to when it was time to pay she charged her for her toes and said that she can't give it to her for free and only a $10 discount. But that's not what she said over the phone. She also said that her toe is fine now in a nonchalant way. Not once did she recieve an apology. I'm very disappointed because we enjoyed going there but we will not be returning. We can't give money to people who don't care about...

First time going there, will definitely come back!! They did my nails for prom and they came out beautiful. The workers are very clean and the salon is well kept and smells amazing in there. The only thing is the area that’s surrounding it may be a little dangerous towards the evening because it’s jamaica ave and i saw people drinking and smoking across the street. I showed one of the ladies a picture of what i wanted and it turned out accurate and AMAZING. Their prices are very good and reasonable as well. The only thing i would say is that they sometimes don’t take people in as they go, i remember seeing one girl waiting for her turn for about two hours , and a lady came in after her and was still taken before her. Once you go in they sanitize your hands as a covid precaution which is very nice, they could be more gentle on pedicures though as i bled a little. Overall, very good salon i recommend!!
