This is a decent area to bring the kids swimming and for sports. The playground needs updating and some of the people hanging around shouldn't be...when I lived over nearby, the upkeep with the playground was much better. The staff at the pool and the staff for the sports programs are very professional and organized. I enjoyed taking my campers there.

The place is nice but the whole park is full of waste that people throw away, I've seen even condoms on the floor, people just eat and leave their trash thrown anywhere, it's the dirtiest park of queens I've seen until moment. Well, the truth is that there are no dirty parks, there are people who like to throw garbage on the floor even if they have a garbage container by their side, this place in the place where I have seen the most thrown on the floor, the people who visit This park doesn't care that your children are playing in a very dirty place. I ask a favor to visit this park, if you eat, throw your waste in the garbage container, if your children throw the garbage on the floor, tell them that the garbage is thrown in the garbage container. Let us be an example for our children and keep our parks clean, the parks are not to blame for your bad occasion, if you put your waste in the garbage container the place will be kept clean. my evaluation from 0 to 5

1 for the park because it has a lot of what the community needs. but it stays dirty

0 for people who frequent it because they don't know where to put their waste.

I believe that complete NYC needs a campaign to educate people and to help keep all public spaces clean. My philosophy is that there are no dirty cities but there are people who are lazy to throw the garbage in a...

Park is ok but the surrounding neighborhood is not. Recently I was walking by the park and got shot by a BB gun twice in back of my head. It was a metal sound I heard after it shot my head. I look back after the first shot, all I saw 5 people across the street but when I turned my back, I got shot again so I took a picture of where the shot came from. Then one person was putting something away in his back and walk away immediately. Plus the 2 other people by him must saw it since they look at me when I turned around. It is a coward act doing it to a woman whom it was. Beside that the park have activities going on most of the time. Just know that people like to blast their music extremely loud on weekend across from the park, smoke weed in the car right by the park and garbage are everywhere after the end of the activities. People are not friendly if you are not around there. It doesn’t feel safe if you go there at...

Very nice running track, with excellent turf ,and is very spacious. You also have nice basket ball courts & hand ball court. That are surrounded by benches and trees for a little chill out in the summer time. A nice football field also that is one of the parks best attractions. Bathrooms are also on the premises

And you can't forget about the famous liberty pool.one of the oldest pools on the Jamaica queens side of town. This pool has served the neighborhood for decades. People from the area and outside the neighborhood would flock to this pool in the summer time.

It was the place to be to...
