This place is disgusting. Before I begin let me start off by saying that I just got home and before heading to this store the closing time online read 10pm! It wasn’t until after this entire ordeal was the time changed online to 7Pm closing. Anyway, At 7:04pm a man walks up to my son and myself telling me that they close at 7. I asked him what he wanted me to do since I still had a few items to grab and he told me to go ahead. I didn’t even make it down to the next aisle ( only having those two aisles left ) and every single employee starts to whistle and yell to gain my attention. The man comes back and tells me that we have to go and that we can’t continue to grab our last items. I’ve never in my life met such a lazy staff. Beyond rude. I wouldn’t eat the meat either as it looks well past expired and literally smells. So gross. I have no idea how this place is still in business and I will be reporting them to the...
Read moreThe store is clean and organized, but it's my last resort when I can't get to the other stores (such as when there's a blizzard) because it's expensive. It's always a dollar or a couple of cents more compare to other stores in the area. For example: Quaker Oats 42 oz Canister is $6.49 here, while in other stores (in particularly Seabra Foods and SaveSmart) it's $5.99 and sometimes they have it on sale for $4.99. I also hardly see any discounts here either.
EDIT: I found out that they do offer the brand Avenue A, which is basically a cheaper version of name-brand items. Their 40 oz is $3.99. I've included photos to show the difference. It's not that bad because in Walmart their brand version (called Great Value) of Quaker...
Read moreI live in Northern Bergen County New Jersey, so this might be a somewhat biased review due to this being an inner-city market as opposed to our oversized suburban food markets. Kinda old store appearance inside and out. Limited range of goods I consider overpriced. However, they do have a very reasonably priced deli/meats department with good quality offerings. An example is their price for Short Ribs of Beef. I bought a rack for a little more than what I would pay for 3 large pieces at my local supermarkets. Likewise when I asked them to special grind some ground beef, they gave me 93% lean for half the price I would pay at my local markets. This is the true reason I stop there to stock up when I I'm...
