We sat down and worked with Joline to design our custom bathroom vanity. It was a pleasure working with Joline! First we discussed the measurements and layout of the cabinets. Joline made a sketch using a computer program that showed the vanity plan to scale. Once we had an idea of which cabinets we needed we walked around the displays. We looked at many different styles. Then we were asked to pick a color. After our color was picker we were given full door samples to compare our top 5 finishes. We selected a raised panel and then selected our favorite! Next we went around the back and selected a slab for the top of the vanity. We had many options! They carry granite, marble, and quartz. We selected a beautiful quartz slab and finished our order. We left a 50% deposit and our pieces were ordered. We scheduled a day for someone to come measure a templet for the installation. We scheduled a second date for instillation. When the top was installed it was perfectly secured to the walls with a back splash and an under mount sink. (We also chose the style of sink we wanted. I'm addition to the vanity we ordered two (2) wall cabinets. The cabinets were cut down to be recessed between the studs. The fee to have them cut down was $50 each cabinet. The charge is for the cut and the build I believe but we chose to cut them down our selves. One of the cabinets needed to be six inches (6") and the other only four inches (4"). For the amount of effort the $50 would have been worth it. Newark Cabinets called us every time they had any questions about our order and communicated frequently throughout the whole process! We I'll be going back as soon as we need cabinets for one of our other remodels!
Another extra we asked for was five (5) partial slabs to frame our niche in the shower and have shelves. We did not order pulls but ended up...

The remnant stone selection was decent, I was able to find one that fit the kitchen. The workers were very helpful and answered all my questions.
The finished product is very nice. My only complaint with the product was that the sink (costing me $160) did not include the drain/food catch. I wish this was told to me prior because I would have just purchased my own sink and gave it to them for the template.
Deducting 2 stars because their countertop guy showed up a lot earlier than scheduled both times, i had to wake up my tenant early morning because of this. The second time I told him I could not take him an hr earlier and he said he either could come now or I'd have to wait until Monday (3 days), then hung up on me.
The other thing was he did not account for the current plumbing set up when he made the template for my countertop. So, we had to cut back the existing pipe underneath to align with the drain on the new sink. The new drain was about 2-3 inches off from the old drain location. You can see from the picture the sink is slightly too close to the wall edge.
I'm not a pro, but it seems like this was overlooked. Thankfully, I had someone who could do the pipe cutting (and re-piping) for free, or it would have cost me a couple hundred dollars for this...
Read moreWe're lovin' our new kitchen. Newark Kitchen & Bath Cabinets were true partners in seeing our vision. We purchased a house with a very small and decades old kitchen. Walls needed to be taken down yet we still had to be creative with the space. Sebastian and Henriette were very patient in breathing new life into our kitchen upgrade. We wanted two tone cabinets and a bright, light counter. Once invited to the showroom, my wife and I knew we were working with professionals who listened and guided us through a new frontier. This renovation was our first and a big success. Very pleased and we're huge compliments. 5 stars and recommendation for the team at Newark...
