Aquadog Grooming — Local services in Newburgh

Was at the vet today and noticed this groomer right next to it. Decided to pop in and see if they could fit me in, and they could with no issues, in and out in 30 mins! These people are super nice and they were able to handle a reactive German Shepherd without any problems! Was very nervous bringing in this dog since he's very timid and can bite when anxious, but he seemed to calm down very quickly and loved the groom!

They clipped his nails down and gave him a much needed bath with some extra cologne. He smells very good now and couldn't be happier! All three ladies were extremely nice, helpful, and caring! But also, they were excited to do the groom and didn't hesitate when I mentioned he's a reactive dog.

Im not sure why they have so many one-star reviews, maybe those people just caught them on a bad day, but they were awesome in my opinion! Great prices too! Full bath, nail trim, ear clean, cologne, came out to be about $55 with the 10% new customer discount. 10/10 groomer, please at least give them a try, cause they really are awesome!

I’ve been using another groomer because they’re also where I take my dog for boarding so it’s easy to add grooming on when she has to board. They are fantastic for boarding - not so much for grooming. I decided to try Aqua Dogs because it’s just down the road from me and I’ve heard good things about them. I’m so glad I did! Here’s what I love: You can do everything online or on their app. You can call too, but I actually like the convenience of doing it online. My dog has black nails and most places don’t trim them enough. I know it’s hard to see and I understand erring on the side of caution, but Aqua Dogs did the best with her nails of anywhere I’ve taken her. She smells great, but not overly perfumed. Their prices are very reasonable. Everyone there...

Very positive feedback about the Newburgh Aquadog grooming crew today. Took Pepper & Roxy in at 8 AM and they're both already finished for pick up at 9:45! Front desk called me about issues w tangles on Roxy that required a short cut, which I approved. She's very professional how she laid out why the dogs' skirt had to be cut off. Pepper was a MESS when I delivered him to Aquadog & he now he looks terrific. Front desk gave me a 20 min heads up before they were done which worked out perfect w my schedule. Plus they were done so quickly! I gave tips for each pup. I can tell they're working as a team there and it seemed so natural, no confusion. I don't give kudos very often, either. So I really mean...
