We've typically had good food and decent service here, but tonight was a dismissal failure! We waited a long time for the server who came to take our table only to find out that we never received menus. After looking at the menus, my Mom ordered Steak Lada. The steak was extremely tough. She had difficulty cutting it, much less chewing it. After several minutes the Manager arrived at our request. We explained our dissatisfaction, and he took her plate to replace it with a "better" steak. The replacement steak was just as tough. No one returned to our table until finally I flagged down another server to request that he retrieve our server with the check. I took the check to the Manager and explained that I would not pay for a steak that Mom could not eat. He replied, "I brought her another steak." I explained that the second steak was inedible. He stated, "The steak was good. Next time order something else." My Mom is not the type of person to ever send food back - she will just stop eating it and not complain. I, on the other hand, prefer to get good food for my money. I believe that good service is as important as good food for the survival of a restaurant. And I don't think it's professional for a restaurant Manager to deny a customer's complaint and tell them to "next time, order something else." Next time we'll dine...
Read moreMy fiancee and I tried out Acapulco for the first time this week (3/31/2021) and had a great time visiting here.
I got a nice, and large 12inch burrito that I devoured quickly, you get free salsa, and the service was quick and timely.
They have a kids party room and even have a outside playground for kids to play on when the whether is nice which is a cool and unique twist compared to the normal Mexican resteraunt.
My ratings are based on many factors with 3 being the average resteraunt experience. I am giving this a 4 because of the unique kid atmosphere, the quick table service, and good speed on cook times.
The presentation to me was lacking slightly, it doesn't look very pretty to me, and looks a little gross but tastes great, and it didn't have any standout taste to me, it felt like just a normal Mexican resteraunt but nothing is wrong with that!
For people curious about price, we spent about $40 for two people, with two entree, a drink, and a tip for anyone wondering about a budget to look at when visiting here.
I would come back if I was in the area and was craving Mexican, but I wouldn't make a special trip out of my way to come back. It was good though and would recommend if your in the area to...
Read moreWe had a party of 16 for a birthday dinner and sat outside on the patio. The atmosphere is really nice. Sitting next to the lake with a nice breeze was a cool experience. The food was really really good. I got the Burritos Acapulco with steak. It was really good. It tasted grilled and it was a nice serving size. It didn't come with any sides though. The chips and salsa were really good. The chips were warm and fresh, so I guess that counts as a side? My son got the beef enchiladas with cheese sauce. Take this as a warning. Getting the cheese sauce, which costs extra, takes away the red sauce. Every enchilada I've had has red sauce and cheese sauce. He didn't like it because of that. The reason for 4 stars on service is that my daughter asked for a refill and they forgot about her and didn't bring her drink back until we asked. We did have a 16 top, but 3 of the party didn't get their food until everyone else was done eating. I would recommend them, but with a smaller party. They were a little pricey. For our small party of 4 it was $85. That's a lot to me. Everyone was really nice and most of the service was fast and...
