My 1st experience with Azzip was at this location, and it was my reason for return. The thin crispy crust in an individual size was just enough to not leave me feeling miserable. And I actually saved a few squares to eat later at home. The entire cooking process is very quick and simple, however I feel like the menu could be formatted differently for customers to clearly understand their options better. I get that its a style, and maybe its merely personal opinion but Ive never been a fan of super unique food names. It reminds of the anxiety I get when Im about to order in the drive thru at Taco Bell. Desperately scanning the menu board for a hint of the thing I had seen on the commercial. It was called something like a nacho cheesey chicken quesorita something or other...ah screw it. I cant find it. I'll just take 2 soft shell tacos.." If I cant find it, with an oddball name, Im more likely to stick to what I do know. This visit I ordered their TRIPLE DOUBLE RANCH, PEPPERONI, GARLIC BUTTER, MOZZARELLA, MORE PEPPERONIS, ITALIAN RED, ZIP DUST I also added banana peppers. This could have been one of my favorite pizzas however I did not enjoy it as well eating my leftovers just a few hours later, as what tasted like vinegar possibly had absorbed throughout my crust. I did take advantage of their holiday cookie special to receive a dozen free with $30 in gift card purchases. Those chocolate chip cookies didnt last long. The cashier forgot to give them to me, but was very courteous and apologetic when I returned to...
Read moreI love the Azzip concept, the quality of the pizzas is very good, the people are cheerful and well trained and I probably shouldn’t be writing a review when I’m freshly disappointed for the second time. A couple months back I ordered from Green River for pickup from my car, arrived at the agreed upon time, called to notify, was told they’d be right out with my order, waited about ten minutes, watched another car pull up and get their order before I called again. They were very apologetic and i shrugged it off even though the pizza had been sitting in a warmer and was less than tasty when I got home. Long story short, same thing happened this evening at the Newburgh store. Same result, poor quality. Tonight I let them know, unfortunately the sweet young lady who ultimately brought my order was not management and I was less than my normal kind and considerate self and now I’m upset about that too. Systemic problem, probably a service that’s hung on post covid, if you don’t have a system that ensures an oven warmed order is immediately brought to the customers car, stop offering...
Read moreI eat here often, usually carry out. This is the very best personal pizza in town. They only have two sizes, big and small. The big for me (my usual) is fine for two meals. This would not be the place for huge party pizzas. That is not their mission. They have gluten free pizza, only in the big size. They will ask if (or assume) it is for an alergy. If so, they change gloves, wipe down the areas, bring the special dough from a hiding place, swap any tools used for freshly cleaned. A special pan is used in the oven to keep remains in the oven from contaminating. You can have all the non-meat toppings you wish at no extra cost. They have wide selection of sauces and other delights There are now many specially named pizza combinations to choose from. These are combinations of toppings, sometimes with toppings not in the...
