If you spend any time traveling and buying gifts for family and friends (or yourself) then you start to pick up the trend that most touristy stores have cheap T shirts and Chinese trinkets. THIS IS WAY BETTER! There are many fascinating things all the way from lovely candles and small items all the way up to larger, seemingly one-of-a-kind decorations.

We fell in love with and bought two vintage looking world and USA maps and two hanging kits. We were worried about getting them through the airport/flying process without damaging these items. The person working took the extra time to help us strategically roll the posters into the cardboard tubes of the hanging kits and then taped the ends of the tubes so the contents wouldn't pop out. It was this level of care and attention to detail which really made the experience that much more special!

If you are vacationing, or even living within this area, this quant store is a must-see for a broad choice of pecial and unique home/garden...

This is one of the most well-curated shops I’ve seen- anywhere. There is a fantastic selection of home, kitchen, garden, kids, and personal items to choose from. They are good quality, and not just “cute but crap” type stuff you see in many other shops that buy mass produced stuff from creative coop, etc.

There are soft linen towels, excellent quality scrub brushes, adorable kid gifts, and lots of other things you probably didn’t know you needed.

The owner was really friendly and chatted with us for a long while during a quiet spell in the store. She definitely has a great eye for quality and design.

This one is worth a trip out of the way- you’ll have a hard time not...

I had the pleasure of spending a couple hours in this beautiful and carefully curated shop today. I looked at every item! My takeaway is this: I've been to many a shop on the coast of my lovely state of Maine, but this one is so different. It is different because the merchandise was different. I go to other shops and literally see exactly the same things (literally) over and over. Browsing this shop made me feel like someone with amazing taste chose each item she would offer after very careful consideration and it made for a very fun and rewarding shopping experience.
