It took quite a bit of time to check out because the cashier has to ask you for your phone number and then tell you yes or no if your phone number is in there and if it's not in there then they want you to stop and put your email in and so forth and so on I am not the CEO of Ollie's but the CEO should definitely consider having them to ask that question at a certain time and not when there are not a lot of people in line or during busy holiday seasons or peak store hours and then she had the markdown whether I said yes or no so the cashier is doing a lot of stuff that doesn't actually have anything to do with cashiering so that's why I don't go to Ollie's a lot you have to give up too much information and do a lot of tedious stuff that doesn't have anything to do with anything if I want to put my email in I got enough sense to fill out a piece of paper or go online and put it in you don't need my email to shop there my email wasn't in there and I didn't put it in I left because I'm looking for an xl power air fryer and they did not have any good air fryers and the ones they had were small and overpriced for it to be a...
   Read moreYouâll always find good stuff in a cheaper price in Ollies. I have been shopping in this place for years and the staff are good until this last weekend. I brought back some stuff in Ollies and Rachel is the staff at the cashier. At first she is doing okay and I asked her how is her day doing and she didnât reply I thought maybe she didnât hear me so I say it again in a louder voice and still didnât say anything but just keep talking about the transaction. As I walk away I did told her I guess you are not having a good day but still didnât make any conversation or apologize for her action. I even heard Rachel and another staff giggling while I walk away from the cashier. I really got disappointed by their actions. I talked to Tammy and she is far much more better than Rachel. Tammy is really nice and apologize for what rachel did. I think Tammy should be credited by the supervisor and owner for being a very good employee. While for Rachel and the other staff the supervisor or the owner should teach them proper customer service NOT TO DISCRIMINATE CUSTOMERS.    Read moreThey were beyond nice... I wanted on product I saw on an add I really wanted (long story)..but, I lost track of time and just barely got there just before close.. I was actually in there a while after close, as I found some other things I could use. Mainly wanted the one item though.. they realized I was still there and notified me they were closed, which I figured they were just giving me more time as they would still be there regardless.. No problem, told them I really came to get one main item and ready to check out (hoping a register was still open..). Then it turns out the CC machine had been down and cash only.. I didnât have... :-/ .. I asked if I could run to any ATM near buy and rush back.. the manager was reluctant (as they had been closed 30 min now..), but she let me!
