Reverie Roasters Express — Restaurant in Newton

Loved the service and the friendliness of the staff. I order a dry cappuccino. It was made very quickly and during the time I was waiting. The staff offered a pup cup for my pup to enjoy. A simple cup of whipped cream, which he really liked. The dry cappuccino was very good as well. I would definitely stop by here again. I was passing through on a Sunday when I was headed to KC. Not sure if I can keep saying great things about this place. If the worker know that you arrived, a note said to honk. I don't enjoy pressing my horn. If the owner could add a bell I think that would sound a lot better. This is a simple stop for a simi simple coffee to make and it was great. I believe I asked for an extra shot of espresso. A great name for the shop and I am glad this was available for me to stop at. There's not that many places that offer service like 12 Brews offer me. I will definitely tell my friends about this place. I hope another is opens up in the kc area. Again, great service, great specialty coffee, and a smart idea with offering the pup cup. I have edited my review since Reverie Roasters took over from 12 Brew.

RR Express has a drive through, so that's good for convenience. But the drive through is still a little slow, and without the ability to leave the line if you need to, you can be there a while. The coffee/service is better than when it was 12 Brew, closer to what I would expect from a coffeeshop. Pricing is higher than I was expecting, even though I did expect prices to rise some. I didn't expect to be charged extra for Oat milk, but it was suggested at the window without mention of the upcharge so I didn't really think much of it until they told me the total. The menu looks much more professional than before, which is nice.

I just read another review saying they give a discount to people in the medical field. I'm in the medical field and never got a discount, and I didn't see any signage about that. I was wearing my badge prominently as well, so hmmm... we'll see!

Overall, I probably won't go as often as I'd like due to the pricing, even though it's better and nicer than before. I'll go back occasionally on payday or when I'm feeling a...

I always have liked coming here in the mornings for a quick breakfast or brunch instead of going to other local places because the service has always been pretty quick and simple. My wife comes here on occasion as well since we live close by. We also have used the free coffee grounds in our garden for a good nitrogen boost!

Some of the teas could be improved on. I'm a big herbal tea person as well as English and Earl Grey fan. There are so many different options when it comes to teas it's hard for many small shops to really know what to keep in stock or instead make seasonal.
