I really wanted to like this place, but I was left extremely disappointed and still hungry. The owner is super sweet but the customer service when you go in is different, youāll be ignored and no one will try to help you or ask if you need anything. I bought a fish fry meal and spend 17$ for one plate! I only received one piece of fish and the sides were literally mush with no seasoning. We also bought some bread and were over charged by 2 dollars than the in store price but didnāt notice until I got home because they donāt print out your receipt. We also bought a single frozen chicken breastā¦28$$$!! There were no posted prices and I was left shocked at the register but felt pressured to buy it anyways. Overview- owner is super nice but he needs to have his employees do better, maybe ask your customers if they need anything instead of ignoring them. Also hire a new chef because the food (not the pizza) was NOT good and was a huge waste of my money. I probably wonāt be coming back, I had to throw away the food I bought from them because it was definitely not edible. Yes the food is farm raised and āfreshā but it was overpriced and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDecided to stop in after driving by what seems like my whole adult life. I didnāt get pictures of everything but I am absolutely amazed. They had a huge selection of vegetables, some fruits, fresh milk, jams, and more. Lots of Kentucky Proud. We decided on a Margarita Pizza, a coke, and some of the best apple cider Iāve ever had. The man at the front counter, Chris, provided the best conversation while we were waiting for our pizza. He told us how he actually makes the apple cider himself and when he said that he brings it to a boil so that children could safely consume it because it has honey it, I knew it would taste like pure love and I was right. I also noticed that the lady who prepared our pizza took basil strait off plant to add to it. I was very intrigued by the pictures on the wall. One of them being a hand painting or Jesus and a lamb walking through a field. LOVE. 100%...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a fan of local businesses and a country boy to my roots I have always loved and supported Farmerās Markets. Even though the prices are somewhat higher, itās typically worth it for the quality and friendly service. But I canāt say that about Doddās. My wife was looking at fresh strawberries they have been promoting at their Facebook pageā¦literally only looking at, not even picking up and looking over when she was accosted by an employee. Iāve rarely seen anything like it. My wife didnāt know why someone was yelling until she turned around and found out it was her. I have never heard such a belittling tirade from an employee over berries in a Farmerās Market. I donāt think rudely shouting at customers, especially in a market where repeat business and word of mouth advertising is critical is a good business model. We definitely wonāt keep going there and wonāt recommend...
