Dantela Bridal Couture — Local services in Niles Township

From Qatar, I came to Illinois for a short vacation together with my friend. One of my itinerary is to look for the perfect wedding dress for my upcoming wedding and I happened to see Dantela Bridal Couture within the area I've been staying at. It was my first time to visit their store.

My 2 bridesmaid and I have been to 3 Bridal couture stores before going to their store. I almost lost hope in finding the perfect wedding dress for me. Their bridal store was different from the rest of the stores I've visited I must say. Different in a sense that I can't browse through their options of dresses because they take good care for all the dresses displayed and only the staff can look for the dress as long as you provide them the dress design you are looking for.

At first I had a different impression of Ms. Anca as she was the first person to accommodate me. She had a strong personality and was very straight forward, all that mattered to her was my opinion & what I wanted. My bridesmaids who would usually speak for me were not entertained by Ms. Anca and she would tell them that I should be the one to speak for myself.

At first I didn't felt comfortable because I have always been the type of person who always thought of what others would think before mine. But Ms. Anca helped me get out of my comfort zone and she has helped me decide for myself. Ms. Lumi was busy at that time helping another customer but she soon jumped in to assist.

I asked a friend of mine who recently got married on tips on how to know if I have found "the one" for the wedding gown. She told me that the spark will just be there and no other opinions will matter. "You'll just know" is what my friend said. And that's what happened in Dantela Bridal Couture.

I've tried a couple of dresses and she made sure I chose the style I wanted. Anca gave me the 4th option of A-Line wedding gown to try on... And I couldn't explain the feeling when I wore it. My eyes teared up out of joy. And I just knew, it was "the one" and that I just had to get it. It was the perfect dress for me...it was all the dresses I liked from different bridal stores mixed into one dress.

She picked out a Maggie Sottero dress for me and I just loved it. Ms. Lumi helped us "bling" my dress more. She offered to add a beautiful shoulder strap and a gorgeous crystal belt to complement the gown. Ms. Lumi was a ray of sunshine. Both ladies have different personalities but they get the job done easily and make sure you go out of their store as a happy soon-to-be-bride. And in just 1 visit at their store, I purchased my dream wedding gown. They offered to give me free shipping to any state and a free gift from them.

As a person who is based in Qatar and just visited Chicago, Ms. Anca & Ms. Lumi were very professional throughout the process up to delivering my dress to New York, they kept me posted in the status of the delivery. I finally held the dress in my recent visit to New York and it was all well packed.

To anyone based in Illinois or are visiting the state, I highly recommend Dantela Bridal Couture! I'm just obsessed with the dress and I cant wait to post the picture soon on...

I had a great experience at Dantela. I had come across them as I was planning the route for my second day of bridal shopping in the Chicagoland area. They were close to another shop that had been recommended and where two of my friends had found their gowns...since it was on the way I decided to stop by. Once I got there it was a great experience. Lumi and Anca are super knowledgeable and no-nonsense women who are experts in wedding gowns. I gave them a description of what I was looking for and they brought out several options. Before bringing out what ended up being the gown I purchased, they asked if it was okay to go over the budget a bit which was very appreciated. Once I made the purchase, they gave me a timeline for when I could expect it and a great recommendation for a seamstress where I can could go to get the gown fitted. When the gown came in, they sent me a text, had me come in for a fitting and sent me on my way. I also had the option to try on veils, headpieces and look for other accessories though I did not end up going with any of what they offered due to timing. It was just great to know they also had these items available. And since this shop is fairly close to Old Orchard Mall, it was a convenient drive to continue shopping for the rest of the bridal party after my fittings. It's a great bridal shop that offers a large selection of dresses and options that aren't intimidating thanks to the knowledgeable staff. Recommend that any bride-to-be pay a visit to Anca and...

I bought my wedding dress with Dantela Bridal and I 100% recommend. They have a wide selection of wedding dresses and price points Lumi and Anca are knowledgeable on their dresses and brands and most importantly their recommendations are ON POINT. If you're the type of person who has a hard time making a decision, they know how to guide you.

Going in, I showed Anca some photos of dresses I think I liked from their website. She brought some that were on my list and some not, I ended up loving all the ones she chose for me over the ones I chose. Anca's knows how to build a dress selection based on your personality, preference, and body type so just be yourself when communicating!

Although I had a dress in mind to buy, I didn't buy it immediately because I had planned to check out 2 other places so I scheduled a second appointment for a week after before I left. The experience at the other stores couldn't compare. I came back a week after, tried on the dress I liked from the first appointment and a few new ones for funsies, and bought the one. We took my measurements and my order was on the way!

My dress arrived a few months later and I went in with my wedding shoes to try it on. Amazing. I've expressed interest in buying accessories with Dantela beforehand and Lumi helped me pick out my veil and accessories. I put down the order that day and picked them up a month later.

Truly an amazing experience from the beginning till the end that's hard to describe through words....
