I have to Express how upset I am about the treatment that I just received at Hallmark here in Nixa. I got a bracelet for my daughter for her birthday and one of the chains already broke. I said to the lady I wanted to exchange this because I'm not sure if the other chains will do the same. She snapped, "I highly doubt it." I just kind of thought, okay? Then I realized I grab the receipt from the day before that trip. (I went 2 days in a row) oops, total accident. Now, I totally get needing a correct receipt, I never rebuked that or tried to pull one over on her? Her body language and her condescending tone with me as I was looking through my purse for the correct receipt was just over the top. I will be driving to Springfield or Battlefield mall from now on if I need ANYTHING from Hallmark. I'm not a new face in there. I buy ornaments, graduation, birthday, valentine's day, fathers day....I have spent many trips and a lot of money there through the years. Where is the loyalty? Unless someone drags me in there wearing a prong collar, I won't be in again. Ask my kids, when Mom says...

UPDATE: BEEN BACK SEVERAL TIMES AND IT IS BACK TO BEING AWESOME!!

This has been my go to hallmark place, even though I do not live close to Nixa. This last visit was extremely disappointing. No one greeted us w/their signature smile, no one asked if we needed any thing and no one said come again. Plus, someone had purchased a ton of premiere ornaments...and they took up the enter area in the movie section...which was depressing as I made a special trip in to look for 2 hallmark movies I wanted. I ended up walking out with nothing and that...

Derick is the Manager and the kindest, most thoughtful man you could meet. He is going through hard times, health wise, and some reviewers may not know that, so give him some slack! One reviewer complained about the heat and another said he was dismissive. Well, he has not been well and works despite what he is going through. He is the best sponsor of any Ornament Club that we have ever had since I moved here in 2005. I drive farther to shop...
