Hair Cuttery — Local services in Nocatee

I have super short hair. It is high maintenance in the sense that it has to be cut right to look good... not every stylist know how to handle it. One girl was charging me $50 and shaving my head down to bare skin like a guy (guy cuts are only $30 at that salon by the way) and though each time I said not skin tight she never listened. I was going to high end salons spending between $50 and $75 only to end up dissatisfied and "growing it out" after two disappointments with the same stylist. Then I saw an older woman with an amazing cut and she said Tammy at haircuttery nocatee does it... From the first time in everyone was super friendly and seemed genuinely happy I was there (not like the stuffy feeling and side eyed looks you get at some salons). Tammy did an awesome job on my hair. I've been to her twice and have been super happy with the results each time! Worst service ever. I will never return. I called to schedule an appointment and was told that I needed to download the application and schedule it online - the girl (Christy) was actually rude. I guess they really do not need the business. I downloaded the haircuttery application and it locked my android cell phone. After a reboot, I attempted to register and it stated I was already registered which was not the case. I used an email account which I have had for 25 years. Next I tried to reset the password, and it never sent me the email. After wasting about 45 minutes, I decided to give up. I hope another hair solon opens in or near the town center. For now, I'll head to the hair cut place on the Rotary off of Mickler Road. They are pleasant at least and do a pretty good...

I almost didn't go based on the reviews but just moved to the area and decided to try my luck. Walked in with no appointment at 5pm and was taken back within 15 min. Had one of the best haircuts and experiences with Kelly who did an awesome job with my curly colored hair. Must have had a shocked look on my face when she said the charge for wash/cut/blowdry was only $28. Don't know the last time I've paid that little for such a great haircut.
