The Publix, in addition to their pharmacy at this location, is the BEST Publix supermarket I have ever been to. It has the cleanliness that you expect at a supermarket, where you are buying food for yourself and your family. The deli, bakery, fruits and vegetables, in addition to their meat departments always have the best freshly baked, and best looking, as well as tasting meats, and always ripe and tremendously good tasting fruits and vegetables. Their employees are the most friendly individuals I have ever encountered at any supermarket. It is organized, always stocked, and even their perishable items are neatly lined up. The pharmacy is an outstanding pharmacy, and I have gone to many different pharmacies in my ten years of needing to take prescription medications, blowing away pharmacies, such as Costco, etc. The pharmacists themselves are always available to help you, in addition to the pharmacy techs. There just isn't enough positive words I can say about this Publix. Being 48 and a physician, I have lived in numerous different cities over my last thirty years, and I have never been to a supermarket that has met the standards that you expect, that this Publix has. I only wish they had an Optometrist department, so I could have everything I need in one spot. Also, I believe they have very good prices as well. Service was very good which almost made up for the food. Ordered Conch Fritters which looked and tasted like hushpuppies instead. I asked the waiter where the conch was and he brought out a different conch dish that actually conch.. Burger I ordered cooked medium with everything was well done without onion and mustard. Asked for the other condiments and then began the waiting game. After more repeats of the final Jeopardy song that ran through my head, I was able to ask another waiter for them. My daughter introduced me to this small, yet delicious option for lunch on our way home from Jacksonville. The interior set a mood with beautifully carved (and comfortable) wooden chairs and booths. Tucked in a corner, the bar was well stocked and I enjoyed my sangria with lunch. The chips and salsa started us off; the chips fresh and warm, the salsa chunky and tasty.
