Update 08/01/2024: This will provide you with the DIFFERENCE in shipping fragile with OUR UPS store and staff vs the Post Office. Buyer chose first time with post office to save money on China from 1878 (T&R Boote - England), although packed with dishware box, per dish padding, extra foam, bubble etc and marked fragile (see pics attached as a result), now the buyer gets to deal with obtaining something back under their insurance, she stated it looked like the box was kicked in…..
Now, look at the lovely response from the buyer purchasing a second batch which was packed and shipped via OUR store and staff (big shout out and thank you)!

I got the box opened and its contents unwrapped and everything is fine! But everything was so well wrapped that it came through fine. Everything was excellently wrapped. And it all looks beautiful, especially the teapot! And the extra plates are sure to come in useful. I will send along a picture of them in use - when I have a chance to host again. An update 10/4/2023, I go here at least once per week, I see no reason why that woman below gave them a rating as such, this place is amazing, their employees are amazing, always smiling and zip you through the process, she had to be having a bad day because these people go above and beyond for EVERY customer ALWAYS!
An update: Had about an hour of notary services and these people were superb. I was worried about taking their time up and the employees vacillated between me and incoming customers, never missing a beat. And how pleasant to work with, keep up the great work...

I am a long-time resident of Palencia and have lived here for 20 years. I've used the UPS Store in our community hundreds of times over the years. However, today's experience was so ridiculous, I felt compelled to speak out.
I walked in with a lightweight package that had been taped with duct tape. The top was slightly open, and the woman behind the counter told me I would need to buy a roll of tape because "duct tape comes off in the weather." Fine—I was ready to spend $6.99 on a roll. But then I remembered that in the past, the staff have always been kind enough to put on a strip or two of packing tape when needed.
So I asked if they could just use a little from their roll behind the counter. She told me they are "only permitted to give ONE piece of tape" and would have to charge me five dollars for an additional piece. Absolutely absurd. She even turned to her colleague for confirmation, who said, “I have no idea—I’ve never charged for tape.” Yet the first woman insisted, “We always charge five dollars. Isn’t that correct? Like we do at Julington Creek!”
At that point, I was so frustrated I walked out with my package.
For context: there is usually a tall, dark-haired young man who works there—he’s professional, helpful, and one of the nicest people I’ve met. I’m not sure what happened to him, but his absence was definitely felt today.
As a business owner myself, I can tell you this: customer service matters. And if today’s employee worked for me, she wouldn’t last a day.
