I don’t recommend this business to anybody as a place with good customer service and care they have failed tremendously. The employees here one In particular put my daughters life at risk. A new mom to Palencia enjoying all the wonderful kind gestures found at many establishment, we ordered here and it turned out with an ambulance, the sheriff department and my daughter age 6 needing a large dose of Benadryl and the attention of the paramedics. My daughter age 8 was terrified with the whole situation. As her sisters face began to swell, tongue begin to swell, and bumps appearing on the tongue we were In fright. My youngest has a peanut allergy. So I made sure to order her norm in most restaurant like this. I ordered the “pork spring roll” thinking only meat, cabbage, carrots and salt& pepper. But with my daughter having an allergic reaction I knew it must be something else to it. Therefore, I asked the employee what’s in the pork roll, He responded nothing just cabbage chicken salt and pepper. He responded nothing just cabbage chicken salt and pepper. I then asked more details did you fry it in peanut oil or are there peanuts in the ingredients in this pork roll? Are there peanut in the ingredients inside. He said no again seeing and hearing me say my daughter is having a reaction. His demeanor I could care less and he was very cold as he became upset at my multitude of questions and asked that we leave his store. His demeanor I could care less and he was very cold as he became upset at my multitude of questions and asked that we leave his store. I was shocked he wasn’t sharing the ingredients, he was yelling, and he stated “If you knew she had an allergy you should have looked at home” 😳 seriously, customer service out the window! I had already called 911 ana the paramedics were on their way when he asked us to leave the store we left and while outside my daughter was spitting up. I asked him to go get the chefs he then responded “Do you know how to talk our language?! No ” he said. As I explained this to the police/Sheriff they were in shock. Once they when in to question them we later was told there was a “peanut sauce”!!! Added to the pork rolls. Wow, why with hold this pertinent information that medic and the hospital would need to know. I told him he should be disappointed in himself for a customer to ask clearly the ingredients and for him to have asked the chef but still not relay the truthful information to a child, a mother in need. The medics praise God we’re able to give a good report that my daughters air/oxygen and breathing was at 100%. Later that night she continued spitting up ana feeling ill. The sheriff stated the employees were scared and didn’t want to disclose any information until the manager arrived 😳🤷🏽♀️ I was instructed to contact the health department and the Better Business Bureau as this was highly inexcusable. An Employee should never raise their voice at a customer and should always be of the most help in a life or death situation. Terrible restaurant experience. This restaurant doesn’t even deserve...
Read moreThe sushi is always good here. I think it’s better than a lot of the sushi I’ve tried here in St. Augustine. I’ve been to quite a few. We had the Green River Roll with seaweed wrap instead of the soy wrap, Red Corner Roll, Fire Belle Roll and the Dragon Roll. The Green River was my favorite and very delicious. My kids got avocado and eel rolls and they loved them. They also have the Japanese strawberry soda drinks with the balls you push down, and the kids loved those as well. The server was a gentleman and he was very attentive and nice. The overall atmosphere was nice, but a little loud because a big party was having a birthday. It was a Saturday night, so I recommend going on a weekday or for lunch if you want a quieter experience. I will definitely come back because their food is very fresh and very tasty. It was on the expensive side though. I remember when sushi rolls were in the $10-12 range, now it’s $15 at least a roll. We spent on food and drinks $150 including tip for a...
Read morePacific Asian Bistro is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully styled. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and fast.
Now let’s talk about the food: incredible. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully plated. The sushi was fresh and perfectly prepared, the hibachi was sizzling and flavorful, and the portions were generous. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients with authentic recipes.
We especially loved the jalapeño poppers, the general tso, and the clear soup. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’re bringing friends! Highly recommend for date night, family dinners, or just a craving for top-tier...
