The food at this place is really good. It's a Pity service either some of the worst in Jacksonville. Last time I went here I had to ask the waiter six times for my check, since he would then go back to the waiter station chat with his friends and forget about it. I thought it would be better if I just ordered a pickup order, but the experience was even worse. We sat at the front for an hour with two people from Uber eats, while the front desk person would tell us that they're working on it and we would have it soon, he would apologize and tell us that the restaurant is understaffed and they did not know how to handle three tables plus three takeout orders at 5:00 on a Sunday.
They offered us a free dessert or soft drink as compensation for the wait. When we said this is the worst service we ever had and have our families waiting for an hour at home ask for at least a partial comp, they said we had already paid and they could tell us they were sorry and give us a soft drink but that was it. I would not recommend going here if you want a place that has any respect for your time or understanding of customer service.
Update. When we got home with the food (10 min from restaurant) some of the food was hot and fresh, some was at room temperature with the cheese starting to congeal. When we got to the restaurant, they said they were working on the order; some of the food looked and tasted like the items really were cooked when we got there and were waiting the whole hour for the rest of the food to...
Read moreBad experience all around! We had to wait 20 mins for a table. To be seated at a table when we asked for a booth. But there was a booth that needed to be cleaned? We had to walk around the restaurant with our empty glasses. Our food came an hour later. 3 out of the 5 meals ordered had to be sent back. One was wrong not meat but cheese enchilada and the pablonos was ice cold. It was like they pre order them and didn't finish heating it up. Second meal also contained a pablonos, ice cold. The other was tamales that was supposed to have cheese only on top.what was brought to the table was smothered with beans and red sauce.we sent it back and was received cheese with beans on it. What ever choose to eat any ways. The first plate and to be send back it was like they heated it up lettus on and all. It had a tostada. Was bought back watery and mush . Had to flag down a manager. Our server now where to be found and never told us his name. The other meal containing another pablonos was too hot to eat when bought back. Had to flag down a manager to ask for boxs. And to ask for our bill after being there for two hours we just wanted to leave. Had to chase some one down to pay the...
