DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. NOTHING IS NEW AND NOTHING WORKS. My stairs and walls are damaged. I don't think I have ever been this unpleased about a store before (for some reason this won't post so trying again).
First, David and the girl employee are nice. The guy with the glasses just stares when we ask questions lol. We got a washer and dryer but when the dryer arrived, it was damaged and didn't work. Tom, who is the delivery guy, comes by himself and someone needs to be there to help him out. He left scratches and small holes all over the walls (he apologized). David also never mentioned that Tom can't install gas dryers. I also bought a grill and the inside was green and rusty which happens if it has been exposed to humidity or used (see picture). The model/# doesn't even exist in the Char broil website.
This store takes off a certain % from the MSRP (their products usually have dents and small issues with them). Home Depot and Lowe's doesn't even sell the MSRP price and have their own sales. We ended up buying a better washer/dryer brand new at Lowe's for a cheaper price (with a 2 year warranty which AHL doesn't offer). The delivery guys (which is FREE) also comes strapped to their bodies so they were in and out in like 10 minutes verses Tom who you need to help and takes about 30-40 minutes (after long sweats and tears).
David did give us a refund which was nice but the whole experience really sucked and I still ended up paying for the initial delivery.
RECOMMENDATION - If you stop by their warehouse, take pictures (don't buy no matter what their print out says). Go to Lowe's/Home Depot...

I bought one blind but unfortunately got the size a bit short on width. I saw the actual size as 31.5 and the salesperson assured the size will be ok when I bought it.
On realizing it wasn’t, I returned the box UNOPENED to get the right size. The first lady was courteous enough to try to process an exchange, but another one slipped a note to her which abruptly stopped the process. Smart play there! 🙂
Long story short, DO NOT BUY from here if you want some form of assurance as they don’t even take UNOPENED, SEALED items in original box!
I have multiple properties and thought this would have been my go to store for all hardware. Unfortunately, first buying experience, AND LAST!
(To the owner’s response):- I bought it on Saturday at 4:45 pm and brought it back the very next business day (Monday) because once I reached the property and measured the 0.75 inch additional difference on each side I realized it’s going to be way shorter that I thought. I always suspected that (even at purchase, despite being told so) which is why I measured it the first thing. Secondly, why would I bring a dropped item and ask for a totally different width? Because width is THE concern!
As to coming back again, first impression is the last. In business, you need to learn the knack of differentiating a scammer and policy abuser from an honest customer. Your employee’s attitude is also very different when I was a shopper vs when I came back to exchange or for a concern. That attitude isn’t going too far.

Read moreAll of the 5-star reviews here are very suspicious. They all include a photo, usually mention an employee by name, and repeat the same points. I believe they are paid. With that said, I just stumbled upon this place today and had some time to spare. All of the inventory here is closeout/damaged/returns from Lowes. I found it to be terribly expensive. They were sale prices that you could buy brand new at the actual store. Facets for $100, ceiling fans $99-$149. The appliances were mostly floor demos in really terrible condition and very expensive. I don't really know the going rate for vanities and cabinets.
What I found most annoying were all the employees following you around asking non-stop if I needed something. I was honest with them that I don't currently have a project and was just looking. As I was getting ready to leave an owner/manager came out and started coaching an employee about "being more aggressive." Said employee came up to me again asking what I was "shopping for today." My suggestion is to just watch sales prices at Lowes for brand new product with a return policy, and not be harassed...
