Got up to the front to check out employees were chatting and I casually walk up to what looked like self checkout like all the other 5 below stores. Started scanning when an employee finally noticed and told me it wasn't self check out. But in the same sentence said I can keep scanning but an employee needs to be standing there while I check out. Read moreI was super excited to see that there was a five below near me and decided to stop by. On my way in a woman (who later turned out to be an employee named MiMi) slammed the doors in my face which were propped open until she did so. I was right behind her so it’s not like she didn’t see me. I asked her for her name when I realized that she was an employee and she was incredibly rude and then both of the employees glared at me on my way out.

There were spilt items in the aisles, and merchandise was scattered everywhere, making it difficult to navigate. It was clear that the store hadn’t been cleaned or organized in quite some time.
