Let me start with the food, the food was absolutely amazing, some of the best food I’ve had at Korean BBQ joint. The service though? The absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced. We had a party of 8 for a friends birthday, yeah we know it’s going to take a bit to get sat no big deal. There happens to be a table for 8 right by the door that we figured we’d be sat at. The hostess asked us on two separate occasions if we’d like to sit together or apart. We told her that as it was for a birthday we’d like to sit together. We were informed that since we were a party of 7 or more we’d have to do one check with 18% gratuity, again no problem, but the hostess assured us we’d be able to pay with separate cards. We finally got sat, at two tables, a table for 4 and a table for 6. We asked why we could sit at the table for 8 by the door and we were met with the response that it was a servers turn to get a table and it wouldn’t be fair to her that we got sat at a different servers area. She then explained to us that this was the food service industry and that’s just how it works regardless of our party wanted to sit together. So here we are, a table of 6 and table of 4 yelling to each other across the restaurant which I can only assume didn’t make other customers happy but that’s what we were forced to do in our circumstance. We made the best of it. Finally comes time to pay, we get our bill, 528.23$, not a big deal, we our pull our respective cards out and our server, Angelina, told us that was not allowed, she then told us what the hostess had informed us was not what they were trained and taught to do so we had to use a single card. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like being told I can do something but then as soon as it’s time to pay all of a sudden that’s not acceptable anymore. Again, the food was great, the service? Left a bitter taste...
Read moreMy partner and I always come to this hot pot place because it was our favorite place to go, the food is amazing & the atmosphere was amazing until today . We had a waitress who started serving with an attitude unprovoked. For the whole time of our meal she only checked on us one time & proceeded to check on the other customers around us with a warm welcome . She also only came to clear our tray one time & clear everyone else around us . I had to stop her while she was walking to ask for service & each time I did I was not rude or snappy but her attitude was very quick with me and like I was bothering her . For instance I ordered 2 orders of pork belly & she brought over one order of spicy bulgogi & one order of pork belly . I told her that I ordered 2 orders of pork belly not the spicy beef bugolgi . She said” ok I’ll let the kitchen know “ with an attitude then proceeds to check my previous orders to see if I was telling the truth . I waited for 15 mins for the other order of pork belly . It never came so I stopped her to ask her if the other order was coming . She said the 2 orders are at the table already . She miscommunicated what was going on with the that& I understand miscommunication happens but anytime I spoke to her it’s like I was bothering her . She was not welcoming at all. Upon leaving I asked to speak to the manager & I felt as if the manager wasn’t listening to me . I told her how we felt uncomfortable & never had service like that there . The manager just kept saying “ it’s because she’s the only server and it’s Friday she’s usually super nice .” I hope she is nicer to other people who are coming there to enjoy a nice meal but the manager wasn’t listening for real . She just kept defending her employee . All I wanted her to do was talk to the girl but I don’t think she’s even going to that because her employee is “...
Read moreFirst, don’t come here ever after 9 pm. Not worth your time or money. When we walked in we were told 30-45 minutes till the kitchen closed by some girl up front. Too which, after hesitation, we agreed to stay for food. That was our mistake. I went to the bathroom while my husband sat down, and hole doing so it took her a few minutes to come and get drink orders, let alone help us. Once she did, she said “have you been here before” too which we said yes because, yes we come at least 2 or 3 times a month. She didn’t help anymore after that. She flipped the iPad around and then allowed us to order our food. THEN CAME BACK and asked for drinks. We ordered food, waited a few minutes less than 5, and she brought us food. To then THEN! At 9:30 make us aware the kitchen was closing in less than 5 minutes. AFTER WE, AT 9:15, WERE TOLD 30 - 45 minutes. Once she was confronted she became rude and didn’t want to bother with us at all. I will not be back. Not to mention, we still didn’t have our drinks, which was a Sojui (you literally just open a cap) and a mixed drink. She was extremely rude. No help. Honestly, we will be calling her manager once they open and it will be spoken about. It was disgusting. The food was bad/not fresh. The service...
