I love Top Knot Salon. I previously worked with Dana Doffin at Royal Image Salon where she first started to really separate herself as a master colorist. She took a leap and opened her own salon and has blossomed ever since.

In the past, I've had photos to show or given her an "artist's choice" and not once ever had an issue. She's colored my out-of-state family's hair and done gorgeously. She deserves to be hard to get into. #1 in Norfolk in my opinion, hands down.

Lately, I've chosen to not color my hair and only cut it for personal reasons and began seeing Janete for my two children (Payton and Bowen) and myself. We have lots of fine hair and she is so educated, smart and personable. She has far exceeded any expectations. I love to be able to book online, the natural and peaceful vibe of the location as well as all the different offerings there. Very uncluttered and clean, thoughtfully designed...

I have been going to Top Knot Salon & Spa when it first opened. I have always been very fond of Dana and her natural welcoming nature. Her hard work ethic is something that stands out and without a doubt, Top Knot Salon & Spa is successful because of her ability to push forward and aim high. Plus, my hair is always shinning and healthy because of her! She's very honest about the does and don't. I enjoy visiting Shelley for all my skin care. Sometimes it's not even oils and creams, it's just the fácil massage and the environment alone that keep me coming for more. I have noticed that Shelley never changes. I can tell that after multiple clients and long hours of facials, Shelley is simply the same. She's happy, she's kind, she's professional, and always willing squeeze you in. I recommend my boyfriend’s mom to this salon, she is primarily Spanish speaking and took her daughter to translate. She was dissatisfied with the color job that Tonya did and so Tonya scheduled her another appointment to correct that at a price of $50. The original appointment was on July 12 and the appointment for the correction was for August 12. Tonya cancelled the appointment 30 minutes before it was supposed to start claiming that her services would be full price (another $160) and stated that there were issues with the language barrier and she no longer wished to take her as a client. The late cancellation was unprofessional, and the excuses made were unacceptable since she did not rectify the previous...
