The Village Flower Shoppe — Local services in Norfolk

So happy to find this local florist shop! I’m from out of town and wanted to take flowers to my grandma! Her favorite flowers are yellow daisy’s and the local Hy-Vee was out. So I googled local florist shops and this one popped up. I called to make sure they had yellow daisy’s and they said yes to swing by and they would make me a bouquet! I arrived and the lady working was so nice and took me to the back cooler to pick out some complimentary flowers to make a bouquet. She asked me my price range and said I it would be 10-15 minutes while she put the arrangement together and that I could checkout their gift shop while waiting.

I waked around enjoying the unique treasures and actually found an old Jon Deer Book about farm equipment! My dad was so excited by the find he grabbed it and paid for it right away. Ordering online makes it so quick and easy to choose a beautiful arrangement, add on a chocolate, or a lovely candle and have it delivered by one of the extremely kind and friendly ladies from The Village. I also love popping into the shop for $5 Fridays and then passing those out to the variety of people I engage with in my day. Everyone loves the way they feel when they receive flowers. Had ordered my plant for Aunt who passed away. Funeral was last Saturday. I had ordered it on a Wednesday before the funeral. They took my name and who it was too, and we spent a lot on a plant. I was figuring that they would have it there on Saturday morning. Needless to say the plant didn’t show up until 10 minutes before the funeral was supposed to have been there earlier.
