Grocery Outlet — Local services in Normandy Park

I went to the store hoping to find good deals like the one in Burien. There really were no deals and a lot of the stuff was just as expensive as anywhere else. And the variety was very limited. I got to the meat section and some of that looked very good. They had just stocked one part with an item called skirt steak and it didn't quite describe what it was as far as the inside part or outside part of the steak. I bought it for over $25. Hoping to take my chance that I got the outside part which would make it very tender, but as I opened it I realized that was not the case. I tried to tenderize it. I grilled it and still it was so tough. I just fed it to the crows. It seems to me the only way to get that stuff tenderized was want to run it over several times with studded snow tires. Now about several other items that were just about the same price as anywhere else? And as a matter of fact, I walked out of their spending more than I thought I would be. I will probably give this place a try in several weeks to see if they work out all the bugs and let the dust settle down. But the prices and quality are ridiculous. Everything is very limited and one good thing the help was cheerful but that was about it.

All the other stores that I do shop which really is only one and that's not the other grocery outlet. I just went there to compare to this one. Are all in the same driving distance as it would be for me to go to the store in Normandy Park so I think I will probably be going elsewhere. Although I kind of like this place, they just need to work out some...

I was trying to find a way to not hurt peoples feelings especially reading the other reviews but cashier tela is loud and very unprofessional she gets too comfortable saying things in front of the customers. Especially when she talks badly about them and calls herself more advance. At the end you can’t be mad at an employee but the managers and owner because they allow it and they hired her. All I’m saying over all very nice store happy to see something new in NP

08/09 Edit: I went back to see if things were stocked and what could I possibly find new and I’m very impressed with how I was greeted. When I talked to the cashier and told her I came in a couple days ago she asked how did I like it so far and I was completely honest she apologized for someone else’s doing and she was engaged to know more of my likes and wants in case she sees me again and can give me a heads up. She even asked my name and introduced herself as Maria and said we are friends now lol she was so sweet and has this blossom presence. Now this made me feel so much more welcomed and appreciative to spend my money here. I also had a few words with the owner and I was so surprised to see him interact with staff and customers instead of in the office. I also seen him working hard. Over all I am becoming a regular and more eager...

I AM DEVASTATED ON THE REVIEWS BECAUSE EVERY TIME MY WIFE AND I COME IN THERE IS ALWAYS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. We always tend to come in around evenings on Mondays or Tuesdays because the evening crew is so funny, especially the cashier Maria. I have met the owner a few times and he is also super friendly and actually takes the time to speak to his customer. This store is always clean and stocked up in the restroom. 11/3 - Today my wife text me and told me you will never believe who I ran into and who was my cashier and it was Maria and then she seen the owner and told him that she was a very good worker always smiling. Honestly I hope someone acknowledges Maria, she has been more than wonderful she is super fast at checking people out and she keeps herself professional but also super funny. She is extremely knowledgeable in a lot of things especially wine, cars and dogs and in all honesty the reason we keep coming to this Grocery Outlet from Des Moines is because of the environment here from the staff. The other staff is friendly and welcoming as well but Maria isn’t too shy to try to get you to crack a smile. I’m not surprised when people want to talk to her she is a great person and We need more cashiers like this!! Thank you...
