Heart's Pace — Local services in North Adams

What a nice place to visit! It made me so happy to find, and experience, my very first gongfu-style tea. It also made me sad because I was only visiting the area for the weekend and wished I lived nearby so I could be a regular customer for Hearts Pace! Beau was able to tell me so much about not only the tea options for gongfu but also all the other teas I could have with a western-style teapot brewing. He really knows his stuff and was very wonderful to chat with. His interactions with other customers visiting his teashop were also pleasant, everyone he spoke to and helped seemed really happy. If you love loose-leaf tea, have time to spare, and would like a very unique experience, definitely choose the gongfu style tea brewing! As you can see from my photos, there are really high-quality teaware being used and an adorable 'tea pet'. We chose the Oolong tea and it was such a fun time to watch, taste, and smell the evolution of the tea with each steeping. Beau provided us great service, doing all the work of pouring the water for multiple steepings and serving it to us. I was also able to purchase some high quality loose-leaf tea to take home once we were finished! This is a unique place not only to this area but Massachusetts in general - definitely go here and have yourself a lovely pot of tea, coffee, hot cocoa, and whatever else happens to be...

Beau works magic! I deal with autoimmune and autoinflammatory issues, and because of that (and lifelong mild scoliosis), have arthritis in my cervical and thoracic spine. I do physical therapy, which helps with strength, but it started to feel counterintuitive to not address years of adhesions and tension in my problem areas. Beau's very first question was about how much pressure I prefer, which most other therapists have not asked or they were afraid to hurt me, as I need a decent amount of pressure to break through the solid stone that my shoulders have become. After my very first session, my range of mobility was so much greater and it no longer felt like I was carrying a bundle of bricks on my upper traps. The second session was the same! Stopped in for the opening and then later made it to several of their special evening events. Check them out during the First Friday events especially! I had the Mochachocolottaya, a blend of coffee, cocoa vanilla with just a hint of maple. and my partner had the Good Evening Claudia, two blended teas(Paloma and Lapsang Soughong), blackberries lime and grapefruit. we both had one of the marshmallow brownies as a side and everything was excellent. the atmosphere and quality of the tea and snacks is top tier, only issue for me is that they're not open for evenings more often, but that is my fault for...
