We stopped here to eat before gonna to Mass MOCA. It was truly the best decision we made.
It’s a cute quaint little cafe that also has a bar.
We came for breakfast so we ordered biscuits and gravy, Quiche Lorraine, and a crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was a 10/10. The biscuits were buttery and LARGE. The gravy was seasoned nicely and they weren’t shy on the meat. The eggs were good. Basic but still hit the spot. Their potatoes were so crispy. The sandwich was great and hearty. Chicken was crispy and delicious. The quiche was INSANE. It was soooooooooo fluffy and cheesy. It was topped with bacon confit. The crust was so crispy and flaky. We asked for hash browns and they were reminiscent of McDonalds hash browns in the best way!!! Oh! I did get a chai which was delicious!!! I wish it was hotter but still would order it again.
The staff were nice and accommodating, too.
Overall, such a solid place to eat that I would...
Read moreExcellent, traditional-style New England diner: great food, decor, vibe, values. This is a new spot one of the few preserved streets in the old mill town of North Adams. Innovative concept: Eagle Street Cafe owner-operators do breakfasts and lunches 7 days a week, then other partnered businesses come in to do pastries & coffee in the afternoons, and dinners in the evenings. Beautifully reappointed, friendly service, very relaxed vibe. Food is excellent, portions generous, produce locally sourced. Eagle Street (and North Adams as a whole) has needed a joint like this, and Layla and Joe are just the people to do it. Highly recommended.

Read moreThe food was fresh and delicious!! Make sure you get the Maple Hot Latte. (i got an extra one to go!) I got The classic with bacon and scrambled eggs and home fries. The home fries were so good!! A lot of places just toss frozen potatoes in a fryer and call it a day but Eagle St Cafe really prepares their food correctly- fresh and nicely. Plenty of indoor seating, and a full coffee bar. Parking is regular paid metered parking as is the rest of North Adams. Only thing I would add would be to add some ketchup bottles and salt and pepper to the tables. As a person who goes out to breakfast a lot this place is added on to the list...
