K & H Electric — Local services in North Beach

I spoke to an Office Manager at K& H about an electrical problem that I was having. They promised to call me back ASAP once they got in touch with their Electrician's schedule and would leave a voicemail. Being the problem was probably growing and persisting, I called everyday for 3 days speaking to the same person. The 4th time I politely and respectfully stated "Sir, I have called everyday with urgency and wish to give you my business, but I'm not sure if you want my business at this point because I have not heard back from you." Rick states "I'll tell you what, I don't want your business. Bye!". I wasted my time wanting to help out and go with a small and local business only to be disrespected with my time and issue which could've put my house in danger. Keep in mind, we are in a pandemic. Came out twice and did repairs costing $900. During second visit, the electrician damaged a water line. He sent me the part to order, and said to call him when it came in so he could finish electrical work in one room and install the line for me. It came a day later. I texted him and called the business several times. They said TH or Fri, then were a no show. I called Friday, they said Mon or Tues, no show again. After 11 days I called someone else. The water line was leaking the 11 days and the second electrician told me to hire a plumber and open a homeowners claim. I have been doing business with this family owned business for over 30 years and in most cases I have had speedy service. I know that when I have had extra work the wasn't an emergency, I had to wait for awhile but also I know that I'm not the only person in the world. I don't get that some people are unsatisfied with this company, it a great place to do business and they hire locally with skilled workers. If you have an emergency Rick will be there at the drop of a hat even though he doesn't have much hair anymore (lol) but like I say this place has very fair prices and skilled people who will get the job done right, they also stand behind their work.
