It is nice to have a "green space" in the town but to build a water feature with Koi fish next to the world's largest estuary seemed a little off. The northern snakehead is more nstive to the Chesapeake Bay than Koi fish. But they do have a nice selection of native plants and some art within the "park". Would of been perfect if there was "Skate" somewhere in the name of this park. Give the teenagers and high-school aged people of this town a place to spend some time.

We love coming here. It’s very well kept as well as very clean. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything out of place or trash on the ground ever. Tons of fish to keep kids occupied. My only negative to add and suggest is finding bridges that go over the water that aren’t so incredibly steep the steepest bridges I’ve ever gone over for sure haha. They aren’t quest stroller friendly so I can imagine they are difficult for those with a handicap or disability.

Suitably peaceful and clean with delightful sculptures, pleasing little waterfalls and koi swimming in pools. I am especially fond of the driftwood art, the Lion in particular. The gazebo provides shade from the sun and shelter from rain. Great place to relax and center oneself. Like this review? Give a 👍

Why build a water-feature with foreign fish next to the Chesapeake Bay? Bridges that span the creek running through the park need climbing gear to safely traverse. And then there's the offensive "bird of prey" sound deterrent that works great on deterring people. I feel the space could have been used in a better fashion that would of provided more uses for the public than this Sunrise Garden has done. Nice for the visitors who don't have to pay the taxes needed for its'...
