On May 18, I bought a dress which was of very poor quality. Like any other dress/shoes/gloves etc, this dress' poor quality was only evident after I wore it for sometime. On May 21 4:51pm, I came to the store with the receipt to return the dress. This was my first time I tried to return anything at all to Burlington. The first Cashier (on register no 9) who started talking to me, was at least apologetic. But suddenly a second Cashier standing right next to her (on register no. 8) intervened without permission and started yelling at me. . She started by saying she was the supervisor but after a lot of fuss, she handed my case over to the real supervisor. By that time, I was so frustrated that I felt like throwing the dress anyways. The supervisor was rude as well and charged me back that I was shouting and not listening to her whereas she was not listening herself or giving me a chance to talk. In front of me, Yelinda the cashier took the dress and threw into garbage and making faces as if I was begging back for the money back. This was the worst and probably experience of my lifetime...
   Read moreThis place is huge and definitely has good prices. Like all these places, it is very hit or miss. Looking at children's clothing, they had very little in my son's size. Some of the sets were incomplete. I found shoes for him for a really good price, though. It really is hit or miss, but worth it if you have the time. I've been to two Burlington locations and they had the exact same problem - the dressing rooms both had make-up smeared on the wall (at least I hope it was make-up) and they both had gum stuck to the walls. One of them had the hygiene sticker from a swimsuit stuck to dressing hook. Didn't matter which dressing room I entered, they literally all had the same kind of smears and garbage and gum! At this location, the cashiers walked around in slow motion. After a checkout, one cashier brought garment bags to a back room and shuffled so slowly I felt like he was emanating a wave depression. So prepare to be frustrated standing in line! Too bad. Great bargains, decent selection, very unpleasant shopping experience. I'm lucky I can afford to pay a little more to avoid such...
   Read moreI had a terrible experience at this store today. First of all, half of the store is empty and I could barely find anything I needed. A lot of the merchandise was also in bad shape. Some of the toys were covered in a sticky substance, and others had broken or torn boxes. There were barely any formal dresses, and some of the dresses there were damaged and torn. After I was finally able to find a few items that I needed, I ended up waiting in line FOR OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF! This is absolutely ridiculous! I understand sometimes stores are busy and understaffed, but waiting in line for over an hour and a half for a few items is a completely ridiculous. Everyone else in line seemed equally frustrated. Finally, when I was leaving the store, my cart locked (my fault), however the manager just stood near me and stared at me as I struggled to drag the cart back into the store. He never offered to help or get someone to help me even though I was clearly struggling right in front of him. I will not be returning to this store again after my...
