Worst service I have ever had. Four of us went, when they brought the food out it was incomplete, I had a portion of mine, my wife's was incomplete & my daughter's was incomplete the only one that was right was my 6 year olds. I had to wait 15 minutes for the rest of my food to be brought out, my wife's was never completed. I got 1 refill after my breakfast was already ate. The whole time the staff was hanging out in the corner talking.
IHop/Owner. We was there this morning. I can't remember the servers name, Hispanic girl looked to be around mid 20's. When you walk in go left straight back we set against the outside wall facing the front of the building. I wrote this post setting in the restaurant. There was people who had come in way after us getting their food before we did. We watched the other server in the area and she done an awesome job. I don't usually complain about service but this was ridiculous, especially when we turned around and seen so many employees standing around talking to each other. If it wasn't for my pot of coffee I would have had waited 20 mins for a refill, our waitress brought me the rest of my food I asked for a refill on my milk, I had already finshed my meal when she brought my refill, It was slightly busy & did not get extremely busy until we was ready to leave. I asked for the manager waited for a minute and decided it wasn't worth talking about anymore. Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at the North Brunswick IHOP restaurant. On Sunday, I visited the restaurant with my wife and ordered food to-go, including a pancake and cinnamon crepe. However, when I asked for the check, the staff failed to prepare the crepe as requested. I had to leave due to a prior commitment and returned later to order the missing item. Unfortunately, the crepe was prepared with garlic flavor, which was unacceptable.
The next day, I returned to the restaurant to address the issue and was met with a rude and unhelpful staff. The manager, Eric, was unavailable, and the employee I spoke with was unwilling to assist me. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told he was not available and that I would have to return the following day.
Upon my return, I was met with the same unprofessional attitude from the staff and manager. Eric refused to provide a refund or offer a solution, stating that he was unable to help me. I was shocked by the lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and the unwillingness to resolve the issue.
As a frequent customer of IHOP, I am disappointed in the level of service I received. I will be reporting this incident to the IHOP headquarters and taking further action to ensure that customers receive the level of service they deserve. Read moreterrible experience... ordered spinach & mushroom cheese omelette along with a few other breakfast meals for my family. Upon eating egg omelette i noticed a small hair in my food. I called my waiter to let him know the situation and let him know i would like them to remove that item off the bill. With-in 5 mins a manager ( bald head guy ) came to my table, very unprofessional, never gave his name or title , in which I didn't even know he was a manager until I asked for another manager. He asked what was the problem and i explained to him , while I was eating we found a hair in my food. He then asked to see the hair which i had on the napkin to show them, he immediately stated ( well its not one of our hairs ) and that he can offer me a discount. I refuse the discount and said honestly i dont care who hair it is, im not paying for that meal. He then stated he can make me a fresh omelette and I said no thank you, I told him I already lost my appetite. he then continued to offer a discount and i said no i dont want a discount I want my bill with that 1 meal removed. He then went on to say he not taking it off and if I dnt pay he will call the cops. To make a long story short, I never experienced such bad service especially dealing with hair being in food.
