I usually don't leave a bad review until a company gets 3 strikes in my book, and here they are:
Strike
closed on Sundays? (I am assuming this is a religious preference of management) if this is the case, Solution: the idea of separation of church and business should be discussed by upper management.
Strike 2) Your inventory control is sub par, 5 out of 10 times I go to your store it is out of inventory of the item I am in need of. That is 50% of the time. Solution: Improve your companies computer systems. Improved computer systems will alert your company when stock on an item is LOW or OUT! In addition, Your checkout system lacks in any automated systems. All sales are manually entered by a cashier, including manual percentage deduction of sale items, which on occasion the cashier has to manually look-up on paper! (after they are alerted the item is in fact on sale). This system is just completely flawed.
Strike 3) Your employees customer service skills & knowledge need improvement. The last time I went to this store (with my standard 40% off one REGULAR PRICED item coupon), I was rudely informed that the item I wanted to use my coupon on was already on sale for 30% off (which I was unaware of at the time). My solution was to take the 40% off of the REGULAR PRICE of the item & forget about the 30% sale it was on, (pretty simple solution to me correct? & which has always been the solution in your competitors stores!) well, I was sternly informed that if the item is already on sale that using the coupon is absolutely not allowed IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE PERIOD!!!!!! Solution: Better employee screening during the hiring process, full knowledge training of company policies & procedures, training on customer service skills (mainly in my case at least) that if there is a disagreement with a customer, a MANAGER should & needs to be consulted.
OK.... well my solution to all this is to shop at Michaels exclusively, Alot less hassle, better customer service, better coupons and it is also on my way home ........................
Read moreLike many other hobby lobby's, this location has a huge variety of craft items. Each section has its own category of items. One section is just for candle making, while another section is just for buying candles and candle accessories. (Note, these two sections are not near each other unfortunately.) However if there is any craft idea that you have, then it should be the store to go to. You can even walk around this store and come up with ideas for projects that you didn't even know about. For instance there is an entire section for making jewelry, and while walking to the store you can come up with ideas for that jewelry, such as making a picture frame by using some of the pieces. There's a huge art section where you can buy different types of markers pens and other drawing items, as well as books in which to draw. The only thing the store could use and maybe it's on the app, I haven't checked yet, would be a map to the store. I had to ask and associate where to find the candle making section. Because I was standing in the candle section, but there is a separate section for making candles. The associate walked me all the way over to it and showed me the exact place in the aisle where the wicks were located. Another great thing about hobby lobby's is that before a holiday comes up such as Christmas they will start a 50% off sale. This happens well before Christmas just in time for decorating season. This alone can save you quite a bit of money! Remember Hobby Lobby's are closed on Sunday. Which I wish more stores were in order to give their employees a rest and the towns a break in traffic. You can also find some great clearance here. I found several different places that they have clearance, so keep your eyes open for those yellow tags and save quite a bit of money.

Read morePeople are very rude and nasty. And it suppose to be a Christian store. I went to Hobby Lobby in North Brunswick and purchased Christmas Decorations. When I went to pay at register one. There was a fat mean Spanish girl as a cashier. After ringing me up the total was $500. I tried to pay with Apple Pay but the store didn't have that method. The Manager came and I asked him to hold my items that I would go home and come back to pay in half hour. The Manager had told the Spanish cashier that when I come back all she had to do was scan the code and take my payment so I didn't have to get in line again. . So I came home and went back to pay. When I got into the store the fat Spanish cashier did the opposite. She told me I had to go back in line because I left the store. There were like 20 people in line. I told her the Manager said to scan the code and take my payment. She gave me the code and said laughing: "Here is the code. Go to another register because I'm not going to take you ". THAT MADE VERY ANGRY. I WENT TO THE OTHER REGISTER AND THE GUY WAS AS BAD AS HER. AFTER WAITING FOR HALF HOUR I FINALLY PAID FOR MY ITEMS. ON MY WAY OUT, THE MANGER SAW ME AND FOLLOWED ME TO THE DOOR. I WAS CRYING. HE ASKED ME WHAT HAPPENED AND I TOLD HIM THE CASHIER REFUSED TO TAKE MY PAYMENT AND GAVE ME THE CODE AND SENT ME TO ANOTHER REGISTER. SHE WAS VERY RUDE. I TOLD THE MANAGER HE SHOULD NOT HAVE PEOPLE LIKE THAT WORKING IN A PUBLIC PLACE. I TOLD HIM THAT WE, THE CUSTOMERS ARE THE ONES WHO PUT A PAY CHECK IN THEIR POCKET. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED. I SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AT HOBBY LOBBY EVERY YEAR . NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN. I FELT HUMILLIATED AND...
